    Well we are talking about a guy who hasn't established himself as an MLB player yet so when he isn't playing well there isn't much reason to bring him up.

    Because he hasn't been good this year and still needs to improve in the minors? His wRC+ is 86 which is pretty bad considering he's in AAA. He's also been hurt with a foot injury that seems to be lingering.
