So have you with your posts. Literally after every batter you post something about 4 seamers or pitching to contact. -
Case in point- Good breaking ball= whiffs. Has nothing to do with throwing a 4 seam.

He just had 3 starts with a ton of strikeouts so I'm sure he isn't going to suddenly want to go away from that. That 0-2 sinker was a horrible pitch no doubt but his breaking ball has been crap tonight which is why he isn't getting whiffs.

If he can't command his 4 seamer the ball is likely going over the wall and there are still going to be runs. He's pitching badly, it happens.

Then he gets hit and people like you complain he's pitching to contact...

You make it sound like if he was throwing 4 seamers this wouldn't happen lol. He just doesn't have command tonight as you could tell his breaking ball is either hung up or bounced. He's still a young pitcher and it happens.

This isn't a philosophy thing, Stroman just doesn't have command tonight.

He should basically scrap the changeup.

lol if you were watching Martin wanted a breaking ball but Stroman shook to that pitch.

Terrible sinker call to Longo and a terrible sinker to Pearce. Rather they throw the sinker inside instead of away where the hitter can get his hands extended.

No because follow through helps explain how you got to that position. If your follow through is different than there is a real good chance your pre contact swing is different too. -
Might be confirmation bias but in my memory watching him manage after Gibby got tossed I thought he did a bad job.

If out of all of that Bautista gets 1 game and Pillar and JD get nothing thats a huge win. JD and Pillar have been better than Bautista anyway.

I wonder if Pitch/FX confuses some of his 4 seams for cutters because the last few starts it looks like he's barely thrown any 4 seams but the cutter usage like he said is way up. -
apparently Joe Torre is handing out the suspensions but wants to keep the list of suspensions fairly short. I think this makes the most sense since suspending JD, Pillar and Bautista really screws the Blue Jays for something that was started by the Rangers. Suspend Odor, Gibby and Bannister and give out big fines to JD and Pillar for storming the field.

Even with the reffing being bad I don't think I could tolerate that. Reviews are too long as is and that would kill any flow the game has.
