    Another crazy stat is Pujols has 31 DRS at First base in 2007. I don't even know how thats possible.

    Loup has a strikeout rate over 30% and walked 1 guy in 14 innings this season. He's pretty good, you probably have a few games from last year clouding your memory. Morales sucks and has sucked most of his career. Just because you paid him 2 million doesn't mean you play the shittier player. No idea why they have an 8 men pen with all these off days out of the ASB anyway.

    Lol does anyone actually think Morales is better than Loup? Atkins has made some weird moves with the 25 man roster this year.

    Not even sure why MLB wants to speed up the game considering how much $ are in the TV contracts. You would be reducing commercial time which just decreased the value of the product. I agree being at the games can be long but when I watch on TV I really don't notice the time much.

    Funny thing is they say they want to speed up the game and increase offence. Well if you increase offence thats going to slow the game down. That 1-1 idea is so f***in bad. Such a massive fundamental chance to the game and all that would do is increase strikeouts. Seems like a few minor changes can be made to speed the game up. Reducing warm up pitches, eliminating throwing pitches on intentional walks, and finally speeding up the review process. So many times you can make the decision if its out or safe in like 20 seconds yet the review takes 5 min.

    Funny because Darwin Barney is probably the 2nd best defensive OF on the team. Both Bautista and Saunders are butchers, luckily they can rake.

    I feel like age doesn't matter much for pitching. Sure its nice for a guy to be younger but if you are comparing a 19 year old and 21 year and the 21 year old has better stuff you take him. If a pitcher has the stuff to get guys out he can probably do it at most levels.

    I looked up Mark Lowe and wow does he ever suck this year. Velo dropped almost 3 MPH and he's been one of the worst pitchers in the Majors. Interesting that out of all of the prospects the Jays traded last year only Hoffman's stock has gone up. Almost every other prospect has only been worse since the trades which is remarkable considering how many prospects were traded.

    EE has been a lot better than Smoak at 1B this season. Smoak's defense is really overrated, he has nice hands but his range is crap. -16 DRS his career and UZR has him at avg.

    The Estrada deal looks pretty great right now although I wonder if they regret not adding a 3rd year to the deal. Happ has been great, I think I saw that his fastball has a top 5 pitch value of every pitcher in baseball which is pretty remarkable.
