  1. All in all it was an alright outing from Liriano. He looked great early on then lost his command for the last couple of innings. Hopefully he can be more consistent going forward.
  2. Not sure why no one was warming in the pen... Bites Gibby in the ass
  3. Damn Upton is just awful. Hopefully Zeke can get healthy so he never has to face another RHP. Can't believe I'm saying that but that's where we are at.
  4. You can definitely see how he's been struggling. Just lost the zone that inning and hung a few sliders. Even though his pitch count is low I would go to the pen here. 3rd time through the order and close to the 4th time through.
  5. That was the luckiest 3 up 3 down inning. Walks the first guy on 4 pitches, gives up a laser line drive and then a flyball to the warning track that is gone in a lot of ballparks.
  6. Strikeouts and groundballs. That'll work
  7. Saunders tipping location to Tulo nice
  8. Really liked the way he's looked so far. Not sure if the gun is hot but he's throwing gas. 95, 96 at the knees lol
  9. Get the ugly gremlin out of the GDT.
  10. Wonder if he can keep up his impressive whiff rate of 30.4%. Think about that for a second. He's swung and missed at almost a third of the pitches he's seen.
  11. Matt Duffy available for a pitcher who can help me this year.
  12. The last few days he couldn't lay off the high fastball or curveball bounced in the dirt no matter how bad it was. Melivin Upton syndrome
  13. Rogers made a mistake that cost them, I'm sure its not the first and won't be the last time.
  14. Considering the difference in viewers from Friday to Saturday and Sunday games is more than the number of viewers the Rogers Cup produced total I would say that is true.. Sunday probably would have got close to 1.5 Million considering the Jays were going for the sweep and it was a close game.
  15. lol remember when people complained saying Rogers Cup should have been on SN1 instead of the Jays game. Looks like SN made a huge mistake. 1. 16. There was a good article saying how his power has increased but it hasn't shown up in his ISO yet. I don't think we see him become average but a 90-95wRC+ seems attainable. I do wonder with him playing so much that maybe his offensive numbers are lower because he is playing hurt at times. I remember him having a really bad slump after hurting his elbow on one of those catches.
  17. Rogers keeps raking in the $. With them firmly in contention, I don't see why payroll should not rise into the $150-175 range next year if the dollar stays where it is. And even then Rogers would still be making a ridiculous amount of money. http://media.sportsnet.ca/2016/08/sportsnet-delivers-a-triple-double-in-july-with-double-digit-television-digital-and-radio-growth/
  18. Man Upton is terrible. Really don't like Benoit coming in here. He hasn't looked good and Barnes was fine the other night.
  19. Cheaper sure but they sure won't be a better team.
  20. Having Sanchez stay a starter is fine but I hate a 6 man rotation. I don't want stroman, Estrada and Happ starting less...
  21. Not saying their individual pitches are similar but I can see him having that type of career.
  22. Reminds me of Neil Wagner. He will be good for a year or 2 and then get injured and be back in the minors looking to figure it out.
