    Every fan in every stadium yells that stuff when the opposing team has to catch a fly ball. That's really no excuse.

    If Price gets the next 3 outs, or allows less than 3 runs in the inning, we wouldn't be talking about this. Don't Bartman this play. Price and Gibby s*** the bed that inning.

    Revere is better in left than Colabello, that's why he was needed this year. Next year is a different story.

    When the Jays score a run it feels like the miracle. When the Royals do, it happens instantly.

    Anyone blaming Goins/Bautista for a missed flyball when it amounted to one base runner on 1st with a 3 run lead is a moron. Price s*** the bed after that. That's entirely on him.

    He was managing to get Price the win rather than managing to win the game. No clue why he left Price up there when he was giving up hard contact to practically everyone after that missed fly ball.

    How about the 5 or 6 hard contact hits he gave up after the error/bad defensive play? Defenders make errors. All it amounted to was one base runner on 1st. That's on Price (and Gibby for hanging him out to dry).

    He's been consistently bad. In other words, he's been a s*** umpire to both teams. Yost took Ventura out at the right time. Gibbons waited until Price blew the game before he made the switch despite giving up hard contact to pretty much every batter. You can lock this thread or merge it with the Gibbons thread, because we're dealing with two imbeciles managing these games, and unfortunately, the other one is winning.

    "Were you worried about your son as beer cans were being thrown onto the field?", asked to Kevin Pillar's mother, is still the most riveting question an interviewer has ever asked. Kudos to Davis for asking the questions everyone wants answers to.

    Tie this series up and head back to Toronto for 3 straight games. I don't think Volquez will do quite as well at RC. Winning today's game is important regardless of what happened in the ALDS.

    The Jays were 44-30 when Anthony Gose started last season. They were 25-35 when Devon Travis started this season. Travis simply doesn't bring the winning intangible.

    s*** happens. I know Jays fans will be blaming umpires, and 'Murica, and everything else for the loss, but it was a 's*** happens' loss. Estrada pitched well enough to win, but it didn't happen. Move on to Game 2. Price needs to step up big time. Bring the series to Toronto tied at 1-1.

    Buehrle pitches nearly 200 innings and helps the team reach the post season, and he doesn't make the DS or CS roster in what could be his final season. Hawkins has been straight trash for over a month now, but since it's his final season, let's show him some respect. Craziness.

    Hendriks must have f***ed Gibby's wife or something. No idea why he can't even pitch in what Gibbons clearly saw as the baseball equivalent of garbage time over Hawkins.

    Twitter Jays fans blaming the umps again, but we've played this game before. Estrada got borderline strike calls as well. Royals had better luck with balls in play than the Jays did, and the Jays simply could not cash in with runners on base. s*** happens. I hate when Bautista shows frustration with the umpires because all the sheep fans start placing blame on the wrong things. Gibbons going to let Hawkins retire with absolutely no dignity.

    LaTroy's 'vetran presentz' > Liam Hendriks. Seriously, Gibby might be the only one who doesn't think LaTroy is done.

    Price, Stro, and Dickey in the next 3, with two being at home. Sucks losing game 1, but I like the team's chances in the next 3.

    I like the approach of swinging when Madson can't find the strike zone, but taking pitches right down the middle with Volquez. This game was absolute ass. Move on to Game 2, please.

    Ump has given Estrada some borderline calls as well. Can't take pitches like that.

    Tulo sucks. Two pitches right down the plate and he takes both.

    Volquez is pitching well. Estrada needs to hold them to 3, and then Jays absolutely have to score with 2-3-4 up next inning.

    Hendriks had the highest WAR of any reliever on the team this year and he's behind LaTroy Hawkins on the depth chart. I can't wrap by head around that.
