The strike outs are really worrisome. I was expecting a drop off from him towards year 3-5, and was OK with that if he put up great seasons in years 1-2, but a decline in year 2 would be horrendous. Definitely think the Jays should cut bait with him after this season (same with Tulo) just to avoid having to pay them during their major decline years, but finding a team to take them (in Martin's case) or getting equal value (in Tulo's case, never mind the NTC) will be tough.
2015 was memorable and all, and there's still time to turn 2016 around, but I'm looking long haul. The window is closing. Win or lose in 2016, they have to make some decisions on the 30-somethings that will be clogging up $20m AAV into their mid 30's.
