  1. Buck: "if the Jays win tonight" 2 seconds later Osuna blows the save
  2. Buck and Tabler have to change their pants with all the old men pitching for the Jays. That's experience, folks.
  3. Well, the Jays lineup is pretty s*** tonight due to injuries. But yeah, the strike outs are annoying as hell.
  4. I can't believe Benoit is ahead of the pen depth chart over Biagini and Cecil. It's mind boggling.
  5. He's a vetrin and the "7th inning guy". How dare you suggest they use someone else?
  6. Great start by Liriano. Couldn't ask for anything more from him. Better defense and he doesn't give up any runs.
  7. This is where a good manager would come in handy. Liriano is facing the lineup third time through the order. He's doing well, but you can't tempt fate.
  8. Upton drew a walk but somehow strikes out looking. Thanks ump.
  9. That's Tinnish, I think. Parker's drafts appear to be from 2013 onwards. Syndergaard, Sanchez, Stroman, Musgrove, DeSclafani, Dyson, Pillar, etc, is from the Tinnish days. Hmmm, maybe that dude is ok with a demotion....put him back there.
  10. Ratcliffe being turned into Grilli is a positive for Parker? That's a reach, Davidi, if not completely delusional. The Jays drafting was solid with Parker but not as good as it was when AA was raping the system and hoarding picks prior to that.
  11. I'll never understand Gibby keeping a starter in the game and then taking him out the minute he gives up a hit. Why not just start the frickin' inning with Benoit? Oh well. Not too much damage done.
  12. The poster you quoted is an AA/Gibbons fanboy. It was meant to not make sense.
  13. Man what a great win. I left the house at 6-0 and came back right in time to see Edwin's home run.
  14. Shame that Grilli has to come in during a six run game, but he was warming up when they were down 2. Gibbons likes to use pitchers he warms up rather than have them warm up for nothing. I guess it will be Benoit as the vetrin set up man tomorrow if the Jays have the lead late.
  15. Don't swing Thole. Just hope Betances can't find the strike zone. That's your only hope.
  16. The Baseball Gods need to give the Jays this win after the gift he gave the Orioles yesterday. Time to be fair.
  17. Travis HR'ed off Herrera a few games ago. Things are possible. Keep it 1-0 and a few lucky bounces could get the Jays back in it. Dig the hole deeper and it's over.
  18. Feldman gave up a s*** ton of singles in his last outing and that resulted in a bunch of runs being scored, therefore he's untrustworthy now.
  19. At least the Jays won't lose by a run now with Tepera in. Don't know why this bum is put into a one run game, but Gibby gon Gibby.
  20. I remember reading that if Gibbons warms someone up he likes to use them rather than warm them up for nothing, so probably brought him in because it was a "save situation" prior to the Edwin HR and he was ready.
  21. Fiers really has 3 strike outs. The 4 on Smoak and Upton should not count.
  22. Yeah, I was fine with acquiring Upton, but he's been worse than even his Atlanta Braves days since being acquired. And not even in a bad luck sort of way. He's been straight up ass offensively. I miss Carrera, never thought I'd say that.
  23. In Spring training, Edwin goes about his job quietly, says nothing to the press about his contract other than he won't negotiate mid-season, and it was never brought up again. He ends up having a great season and will get a big contract from someone. Bautista does the exact opposite, creates a distraction for no reason, says there won't be a negotiation as he told the club his number already (5/150), and he proceeds to have two DL stints, a bad season (by his standards), and a meme that will last a lifetime of him getting punched in the face. This is why you keep quiet, Jose.
