I realized I am a lot less angry about the Jays losing after making the playoffs in 2015-16. That 20 year drought made starts like this feel like absolute s***, but I'm kind of numb to it now since the team succeeded for two years and I kind of expected a drop off with age due to the way the team was built two years ago.
Either make the playoffs or trade guys at the deadline to get younger. I'll be happy with either scenario.
Yeah loading the bases on purpose made no damn sense. Just bring in the infield in with 1st/3rd, if they score, they score. But f***, loading the bases on purpose with a fringe AAAA guy on the mound? Come on.
Liriano cost us two games pretty much. Nuked the pen last night, forcing the Jays to call up Lawrence who loses it tonight.
O's are 4-0 overall, and 3-0 in one run games already, too. f*** this s***.
Still early in the season but have to keep in mind he is 36 and relies on bat speed. At some point the old man game isn't going to work anymore. Hope he has at least one more good season in him.
Yeah, Salty is s***, but no way he was responsible for Liriano pitching like that.
Liriano will probably have games like this throughout the season, as well as stretches where he looks like an ace. That's just who he is.
I've always been a Vlad believer, but damn if Bichette turns out to be a top prospect too, then that would be awesome. Bout time the Jays have some top position player prospects.
