  1. He's basically praying for Boston to trade for him.. but the Red Sox might be selling off veterans instead if the team continues to struggle as it is. Why would he want to be on a train wreck of an organization right now in Boston?
  2. What a blow to the A's. Can we start asking them for Kazmir or Chavez yet? And can we send Navarro to Atlanta when he's healthy? And Hamels costs too much.. and is showing signs of decline.
  3. It's Erisbal Arruebarena, BTW. And it has something to do with his beahviour.. it also serves as a warning to teams wanting to sign Cuban free agents, as for every Jose Abreu, there are some busts in there like Arruebarena. But yet, teams blow tons of money on unproven talent.. we need a international draft in the next CBA.
  4. And we're not going to see Sale or Quintana. Projected matchups are: Seattle: Hernandez, Paxton, Walker Chicago: Danks, Rodon, Samardzija And BTW, Samardzija has been terrible this season. We beat Hernandez last time.. and Paxton's FIP numbers signal regression coming.. especially considering his control issues. And Walker.. on a better club, he would've been sent to AAA right now. He has no place on a MLB roster right now.
  5. None of them are hitting HRs. Staying healthy would also help the Indians.. that's been a problem as well. And why isn't Lindor up yet?
  6. Defense is a major problem in Cleveland.. that's why they've been awful. They don't hit HRs either..
  7. Seattle and Chicago, who are next, are as bad or worse hitting.
  8. And how about Kazmir?
  9. Well, we won.. at least the bullpen will be nice and fresh for the Mariners series, with Dickey going all the way.
  10. Have you even watched the Mariners or White Sox this season? Neither team can hit.. and the Mariners bench makes the Jays one look good, and Taijuan Walker has been a headache for the Mariners, who is only up due to injuries and lack of depth in the Mariners system. And Chicago is the lowest scoring team in baseball..
  11. God are Buck and Pat stupid.. Seattle hasn't heated up at all. Yes they have big arms.. but they get little run support, as Nelson Cruz accounts for a good chunk of their offense. Why do you think the Mariners are 18-22?
  12. Thank goodness the schedule finally eases up after this game.. Seattle and Chicago are bad teams. No idea on Minnesota, though.. still feel they're getting by on smoke and mirrors with their pitching, and they've hit enough to be a strong competitor.
  13. 10-game suspension coming for Will Smith of the Brewers:
  14. Looks like we're going to win this one and get closer to the sliding Red Sox, who are losing to Wandy freaking Rodriguez!
  15. Tigers bullpen melts down again.. Astros have tied the game.
  16. Yes, I know the lineup stinks. But Shoemaker has been garbage this season, regressing significantly from last season.
  17. Astros have gotten within 1 now because of JD Martinez's miscue in RF..
  18. Not shocked at all. Happ's numbers are inflated by Safeco Field. He's the same mediocre pitcher he was with the Jays when outside of Seattle.
  19. That and the White Sox offense is pathetic.
  20. What a pathetic team Boston is! They had a easy win with minor-leaguer Phil Klein making his starting debut for Texas.. and Klein(and the Rangers bullpen) mows down the Sox offense. 1 for 8 with RISP.. even Toronto can hit with RISP(but can't pitch..)
  21. As long as we win tomorrow, it would help. And getting Travis and Reyes back will help.
  22. Both Williams and Harper will get a suspension and/or fine for this. That was right on the edge of the strike zone. It is the umpire's discretion regarding the strike zone. And considering Harper was tossed a week ago, MLB will likely try to set an example for him by suspending him for a game or two. Out of the strike zone or not, you can't show up the umps like that.
  23. Not if the AL East remains as garbage as it is right now. Even the Yankees are fading.
  24. Well, the Jays lost, yet still don't lose ground because the AL East is garbage. Yanks lose, Rays lose, O's lose.. and the Red Sox are looking headed for a loss.
