I know this will be a highly unpopular view on here, but I just can't buy into the notion that we're one elite pitcher away from the world series. I would oppose any trade that saw us giving up on Stroman or Sanchez and I can't imagine what else we would have left to offer. After already seeing Marisnick, Nicolino, DeSclafani, Syndergaard and d'Arnaud depart in return for a s***** 2013 season and a 12-15 March and April, I just don't think I could rationalize mortgaging what's left of our future in the light of one good month, especially not with AA in charge of making the deal. -

Yesterday I swear to you that he called himself a democrat when discussing the issue of PED's and Marijuana in sports. The other broadcaster described himself as a republican in contrast. -

Truthfully I was excited by this trade until the awful realization dawned on myself and most fans that we were not getting what we thought we were, starting with Johnson (ugh) and Reyes's ongoing injury woes. The trading of Escobar however was cowardly and political and done at the behest of politically correct liberal imbeciles in the media (are there any other kind?) starting with McCown. I didn't like it then and I like it even less after reading this article. -

Just leaked on TMZ: Blue Jays FO Master Plan for May 10 2014: 1) Start Hapless 2) Make a relatively unknown rookie pitcher look like Gregg Maddux 3) Serve up meatballs to rookies like Cron 4) Replace good(ish) white guys such as Lawrie, Lind and Rasmus with inferior white guys like Kratz, Tolleson and Getz 5) Lay a huge egg on Junior Jays day to drive away the next generation of fans, as 21 years of no playoffs already drove away the last one. Hmmm. Plan seems to working smoothly. Everybody on here needs to just calm down.
