  1. Add the rest of the team to that list and I'm in. It's a sellers market for f***s sake; this is the time to restock the farm and retool. I don't care about three year windows, this team couldn't win if it were given a 50 year window.
  2. This team will not win next year as currently constituted. There are simply too many holes in too many positions and the starting pitching is a disgrace. The one thing, and I do mean the one thing, that kept us going was the bullpen and now they are starting to collapse. Why can't the geniuses running this organization come to the blindingly obvious conclusion that we as fans have already arrived at? Three simple steps. Pull pin, throw grenade and take cover.
  3. Now I know how Raglan felt as he watched the charge of the light brigade........what a f***ing disaster.
  4. And now Gibbons. "This team has always shown up to play. Always have, always will." Can someone please point out to these loonies that we are 45-53?
  5. Wilmer: "I don't think this team needs to be blown up." Interesting.
  6. I agree that AA can't hold a fire sale or he might as well resign, but truthfully any GM worth his salt in this league would recognize that this season has been a debacle and offers should now be heard for anyone on this team. And yes, I said anyone....
  7. 2010: $62,234,000.00 payroll (21st in mlb), 85-77 record, (10 games out of wild card), (29.2 years median age of squad) 2011: $62,567,800.00 (23rd), 81-81, (10), (28.3) 2012: $75,489,200.00 (23rd), 73-89, (20), (27.7) 2013: $117,035,100 (9th), 45-53, (10+), (29.6 median age - 2nd oldest in MLB) If AA and Beeston don't get fired after we have become more expensive and shitter each and every year and are now older than when AA took over, then this organization truly has no credibility.
  8. Unless Johnson has a ridiculous August and September he will lose millions on his next deal, but somebody will still sign him for a stupid amount. There is one born every minute after all.....
