    Exactly. I'm not a huge fan of Rogers' ownership but they are being used as a scapegoat for Beeston and AA's incompetence.

    However many losses it takes to get AA fired, I'm all for it. We need someone like Farhan Zaidi as GM - current assistant GM with the A's, an actual analytics background, and he's also Canadian, which Rogers and the Jays can play up for PR purposes.

    The lack of a wildcard in the playoffs back then really screwed the late '70s/early '80s Expos out of multiple playoff appearances.

    This. Fans were the least of the Expos' problems. Stadium issues, s***** ownership, Selig, the Blue Jays stealing the Expos' TV rights outside of Montreal, and the 1994 strike are what killed the Expos. The fans showed up until they got tired of being screwed over.

    Sick and tired of the excuses this franchise makes for everything. Andre Dawson had to get his knees drained constantly, played on s***** turf in Montreal that was hell on his knees, and didn't cry half as much as Bautista.

    No it isn't. The Orioles just have a better front office than us and a better team. They made the playoffs in 2012 and are on track to do it again this year, meanwhile, our drought is at 20 years and counting.

    People are really shocked that this injury-prone roster AA put together without any depth and with a depleted farm system is breaking down physically again? If AA doesn't get fired after this season, the Jays might as well just announce that they've given up on winning.

    The Napoli trade is where he really failed. I wanted him fired then, but he's clung on long enough to deliver two more franchise-destroying trades.
