  1. No big deal. 1 run. Stro will settle down. No fault there to Cola or Martin. Let's go Jays!!
  2. Barry Davis's interviews are more cringe worthy than watching Borat.
  3. And that's the kind of moxy that will get this done today! Go Jays!
  4. He isn't good but he has made some excellent plays and all of the avg ones. I'm ok with it the way he is swinging against a LHP.
  5. If "fans" can't stay with THIS team in game 5 then they don't deserve this team. We are never out of it with this offense.
  6. Not with me and our Aussie has been good.
  7. Honestly don't understand how anyone could work now. I'm completely dysfunctional now and after 1st pitch forget it.
  8. Hendriks has been more consistent and reliable than Sanchez this year so I put him in that grouping. His splits against LHH are not bad.
  9. Yikes. Mad respect for Latroy's career but that is not comforting.
  10. This is Gibby. He brought Hawkins in in game 2 before Hendriks and left him in for 3 straight line drive hits to take the lead. I hope you are right but I don't know that you will be.
  11. The Jays don't need hitting advice from us but watching that gm in the stands it seemed Hamels got stronger later establishing his breaking stuff off the plate. Seemed to be a lot of swing and miss pitches in later innings on chase. I think what they will do is be aggressive early in the zone if they get a pitch to hit...so that he doesn't get ahead. If he does its very hard to lay off his secondary pitches. If they can lay off as they have been the last 2 games....they will own him.
  12. Pillar carrying a lot of the offensive weight the first 4 games. Hope Edwin and Jose et al can also step up to do some more damage today.
  13. This^. It's worth a shot or two off a LHP. Goins and Revere aren't likely going to light it up off Hamels so we might as well see what happens.
  14. Too much. Usually average 125 or more flights a year. I'd be in TOR today for it but have this in Van and a meeting in Sechelt, BC tomorrow. I'm bummed I can't be at game to celebrate with our fan base. Next round!!
  15. In Vancouver today on business and will be abandoning an LNG conference to watch this game. If we lose I will try to get a good old fashioned Vancouver riot going.
  16. Must be. What a dumb story. I guess they forgot JD HR in game 2 off of Hamels.
  17. Its pretty cool how young some of you guys are, and just getting your first taste of Jays playoff baseball. I hope you are enjoying the nerve racking ride. I was at a party at my friends house in Whitehorse, Yukon when Carter hit hat HR. I jumped up on his coffee table with a massive shot of adrenaline and slammed my arms in that air....one fist when partially through his ceiling drywall. Nobody cared. That was an unbelievable moment. Can't imagine being at the RC for it.
  18. I saw report last night with Shi and Barry Davis. He could be available but no word. At this point I would prefer not to hear "may" be available.
  19. Incredibly Loup may not be available tomorrow. Family medical issue. To think we face that LHH line up just seems surreal. Price will be up if needed. What a shame about Cecil. Just terrible luck.
  20. True. That's his preference for sure. I remember the last time we put him at 3B and he missed a bunch of time after with back issues. His numbers are better than I thought on OF D.
