Well Id much rather have Martin in this game but he did get a double and he and the Marco karma seems to be working so far. He had a decent AB....hit the ball ok....wrong place.

that's the point. They don't always work and they give up an out and you don't know it wasn't called from the bench. Navvy wouldn't score on bunt ...too slow.

Guys, we have the best offense in baseball. We live and die with the long ball and we cant all of a sudden turn the meat of our order into Tony Gwynns. Edwin crushed a ball....right at someone. They know they need to lay off the goo and wait on pitches in the zone, and if they don't we will be over. Right now he has us swinging at s***. 2nd time around we get him.

Actually the best pitch Jose B saw to hit in the AB was the first one and he took it. Id rather he smoked it. Nice catch JD!

Got to calm down bro. Agree the first inning looked a lot like the last 2 games approaches but its the first inning. There is 0 point in taking pitches that are hittable only to fall behind. If he comes into your zone, hammer it.

That's kind of like saying LAD shouldn't start Kershaw in key situation because he has been post season rocked. Another pitcher that lost his first 6 post season games was named Randy Johnson. He is an ace that's due.

Same issue as first two games. Guys need to be aggressive when they get a pitch to hit and try to lay off the stuff out of the zone. Easier said than done, but they did it all year.
