    Really could give a flying f*** about the AS game and Jays etc. If Marco has to go on the DL this is the time, and the last thing I want is Sanchez throwing any meaningless innings. It's all about winning this season. I"ll vote for Saunders because he is Canadian and having a great year and it would be his first. But im much more interested to see how Hutch looks tonight now that Floyd is gone.#FlagsFlyForever

    It was effective. He threw everything, including his breaking balls, harder in 2014.

    I think so too, but I think Walker and the Jays have been pretty concerned from listening to his interview Tues on BC. The amount of hard contact he has given up is a concern. He has made some adjustments that seem to be effective for him. 3.91 FIP and 1.8 WAR. 15% HR/FB

    Given we hit this when he sucks, we need to hit it when he doesn't. I didn't see the whole game but what I did see I liked. Used of the 4S up in the zone touching 95 again. Sharp breaking balls down and in to Hosmer etc. GB% was huge. The HR was a flat 2S center cut that was a mistake meatball he left up and knew it. His FB command was much better overall. We have to be pretty happy with that against a so-so line up.

    Very happy for him (and us). I give him props for fighting back after a major freak injury 2015. Hate to say this but I don't trust this production and its not just the .372 BABIP. Also think he is a breakable object who is scary on D. If he continues to rake at anywhere near these levels and stays on the field, make QO and take the one year risk or let him walk for pick.

    Just watched the highlights. Stro looking good overall. Much better. Nice win! f*** the LAD suck. Couldn't close.

    I'd take a 3rd WS ring over individual awards times infinity(that's what my kid says). The individual stuff means little to me after the black hole from 94-2014 where all we had to get behind were some individual honours. 2015 reminded me of what it's all about and i'm hungry for that kind of excitement again this year.

    Missed the gm last night but watched Jays in 30 when I got home. Tulo hit that bomb on a high and tight pitch that reminded me of the HR in his first gm as a Jay. Our Board (me included) can be so reactionary. Our threads in the first 6-8 were the narrative that Martin and Tulo might both be done and know we are fapping about Tulo again. I think most of us thought he could be better again (because he was pretty bad), but he looks like old Tulo right now and I'm lovin' it. He is dangerous. wRC+ 107. What a boost with Jose out. Not to mention Zeke with a HR and 2B last night. 1.2 WAR. Same as Tulo.

    Sanchez legit. I picked his ceiling as a 4/5 SP. Jim C took a beating but he hung in there on the Sanchez fap. Nice outing.

    And yet he raked against us in the playoffs. These guys are good, but they are also unbelievably lucky. Pisses me off. Their BABIP against us was silly.

    Zeke drives me nuts in so many facets of his game, but at 1 WAR he has been worth more than Jose for $500k. I want to complain and often do, but I shouldn't really.

    Yes, after AS break at the earliest. Hasn't been able to take off the boot yet.

    I don't understand some fans obcession with bunting. Especially sac bunts. They seem to be the be all end all answer for all offensive requirements. The fact that you are giving up an out and that they often don't even move the runner over a bag resulting only in an out seems to get a pass at all times in the analysis. I like to see guys like Zeke drag one every once in awhile, and Goins needs to be able to SB, but that's about it.

    That was one of his best swings all year on an inside FB. Just beautiful. This guy is still an impact player and we need him.

    WTF is NOT f***ing invited Spank. Just sayin'. Although it might be good comedy and maybe he"ll let me take his Lear jet back to Calgary before he heads off to Buenos Aires or Monaco.

    Its hurts my eyes to watch him play D. Makes me want no part of a new long term deal for him. MAYBE a QO if rakes all yr and can stay healthy. We have been treated to him, Zeke, Cola and before that Melky out there. Revere looks like a rock star comparatively.
