    Like we're going to sign a FA, have you been paying attention these last few years? This team doesn't like to add wins unless we can trade away our farm in inefficient deals to do so.

    Obvious point is obvious. This half-assed "All In" s*** is infuriating. We're stuck around 85 wins and we're standing pat. We'll trade away more of the farm for a #3, adding maybe a win or two in the process, and call it an offseason. Pathetic.

    Hah. Nice. Even if AA overpaid we'd get good value most likely. Easiest position to raise our WAR at, now that they've semi-addressed C for a season maybe. We get this guy, and a #3 or better SP, and we only need the rotation to really break our way to have a decent shot at around 90 wins.

    Most people spend every cent they make, and then some, no matter what their salary is. One of the girls I'm juggling right now has a good career and 2 side cash jobs and she's still broke and in debt because she's a retail addict.

    In a way this is kinder to us Jays fans, in that we have no reason for getting our hopes up. I've pretty much written them off in '14 unless we somehow add at least 5 wins to what we have now. Ah well, at least TFC look like they might finally be going places, might find myself at BMO more than Skydome next summer.

    I don't want him for that 4th year, period. Not even for 3, if Omar Infante is still our best option at 2B in 2017 then.......you know. I'm on record as being pro-blowup, but if we're comitted to the derping for the next 2 years, let's derp it up right. We're stuck around 85 wins, this guy has the chance to get us up to 87-88 next year. For 12 to 15 mil for the next 2 seasons, he's contextually worth it to us.

    Maybe you can get him to accept something like 3/33, with the third year being a club option. I still suspect he might get 4/36 from some GM even more desperate than ours.

    I'd rather we overpay him for 2 years than 4. Those 2 or more extra wins from 2nd base are easily worth 15 mil a year for the next 2 seasons for a club stuck around 85. Edit: if he'd do 2/25 then even better, but likely you have to blow him out of the water to get him to accept less than 3 yrs.

    I'd do 2/30 if we can't swing a good deal for Espinosa but that's it.
