  1. Jays chances of winning the division lives to see another day. I know it's like mentioning a perfect game in the 5th inning, but as early as tomorrow evening, the Jays could suddenly have a realistic shot at winning the division, instead of just a theoretical possibility.
  2. It's definitely not a rule any more. It would be strange with 2WC as it means the entire league could wait on the outcome of a wild card game to find out who plays whom. So yes Jays / Red Sox ALDS is still possible. In fact, it's still mathematically possible for the Jays to be #1 seed in the AL and face them there with home field advantage in all 3 rounds. All we need is: Jays go 7-0 Red Sox go 0-6 Texas goes 0-6 Cleveland goes 2-5 or worse. Definitely doable!
  3. That would be best, but preventing the giants from winning an even numbered world series would be pretty special as well.
  4. There is absolutely no excuse for taking 50% of anyone's income. I don't care the circumstances. It's criminal, plain and simple.
  5. Wow, IBB to get to Encarnacion. I guess you almost have to in this situation.
  6. Easy one to vomit back up tho
  7. Omfgoafrfoarfarofafaorf
  8. OMG way to go Pillar. That is one of the greatest Blue Jays hits this season.
  9. What a great walk after an 0-2 count. And taking a couple of pitches right on the edge of the strike zone at that. How likely is a stolen base attempt to stay out of a double play?
  10. Osuna didn't blow a thing. This is just typical Jays luck.
  11. Speaking of, it looks like Buck is dropping a deuce right this instant.
  12. Had it deflected off the 2nd baseman's wrist or went under his glove, as is what happens on line drives like that 75% of the time, I'm pretty sure everyone here would have been cheering and giving internet high 5s to Bautista.
  13. Sometimes the best contracts are the ones you don't sign.
  14. Yep. Can't fault Bautista on it though.
  15. Bahahahahaha!!!! That's hilarious!!!!
  16. Lol the chances of that game ever happening are hilarious. For that to happen: 1) Jays must win the division 2) Overtake Cleveland for #2 record in the AL 3) Win the ALDS 4) Go 3-3 in the first 6 games of the ALCS It's about as likely as the Jays sweeping the entire playoffs.
  17. Damn it yes! Everything's coming up Milhouse for a change.
  18. 2 years, 1 remaining on the 2/29 contract, and 1 year of arbitration. Correct?
  19. Assuming Bautista stays on pace for the rest of the season, how likely is it someone will offer him QO type money on a 2 or 3 year deal? I.e 2/35 or 3/50?
  20. What the hell, 7th inning already?? I literally came home before game time, had a salad, took a dump, and the game is almost over??
  21. Here we go again with the iron fisted forum dictatorship. Why don't we just have one big thread for the entire forum, huh??? This place is literally worse than North Korea, dagnabit.
  22. Hasn't he had, like, a whole bunch of line drive fluke outs that would normally be hits during his 0-fer? Not to mention a bunch of walks as well?
  23. That was great, but... So f***ing sick of Sportsnet giving 1/3rd of the airtime to the cheering fans..
