BABIP is more of a "luck" indicator in the major leagues, while it is more of an "ability" indicator in the minor leagues, due to the fact that A ballers aren't used to fielding 100mph line drives which are routine at the major league level?

    Despite the Jays still being 6.5 back, and considering the large number of games remaining against divisional rivals, if the Jays simply win the remainder of the games, I think that would mathematically guarantee a playoff spot.

Not Wilner specific. Buck and Pat do this all the time. I agree that this is one of my greatest annoyances. If you're going to regurgitate stats and numbers on air, for the love of god, at least make sure they're meaningful.

    I can't believe they didn't challenge that play. All 3 replays made it look like he was safe.

    Always a likeable manager and great with team chemistry. His strategic ability seems to improve every season as well. His stock is rising.
