It would be great if it wound out like the Headley deal from last season. Headley was also a pretty serious injury concern at the time, and he was sort of stagnating in San Diego (1.5 fWAR in the first half of the season prior to the trade). Tulo is pretty much doing the exact same thing this year (1.2 fWAR prior to being traded), except a lot of his value his offensive, while Headley's was defensive.
A change of scenery halfway through the year seemed to rejuvenate Headley, and he ended up posting 2.7 wins over the remainder of the season in New York. It would be beautiful if we could see something similar from Tulo.
