Evan Skoug, the 48th ranked prospect that fell all the way to the White Sox in the 7th round, signed for only 300K (99K above slot). Jays could have afforded this one.
So with Warmoth, Pearson and Danner all going overslot, they've used up their entire pool and the majority of their 5% overage allowance.
They have about $81K left of overage allowance if they want to go over the 125K slot past the first 10 rounds. The most they can spend on one unsigned guy now is $206,550.
"Some with the Giants muse that the team even misses Angel Pagan, who created an odd sort of unity because most of the players disliked him."

We should sign him. He's a clubhouse guy.
See: Pillar, Boyd, Graveman
He's asking about the colors in the signing table. I didn't think I had to label it, but black means nothing. We don't know whether those players are signing, are considering signing, or not signing.
Second time I've caught a game late with Grilli coming in, second time I've easily called the result. This guy needs to be Old Yeller'd -- Predicting that he'll blow a game is the easiest bet you can make at this point.
The playoffs would not have been made without the deals, and it was absolutely worth it. I don't give a s*** about the World Series. Nobody outside of your city even cares about World Series wins. The entire appeal of winning one is to have "lifelong memories" to look back on and remember fondly. We got that with the past two playoffs. People care more about Bautista's home run than they do about the s***** Royals' championship win. Five years from now, people will remember Game 5 of the ALDS; they won't remember who won the World Series in 2015.
