  1. All those comparables make 0 sense.
  2. Was it only me or did Edwin move closer to the plate last night?
  3. I think Travis should be in the number 2 spot, that will fix his problems.
  4. If Martin continues to hold his hand, it just might work out for Sanchez.
  5. It was fairly obvious to me that Gomes could hit and play good defense both as infielder and catcher, not sure why the staff didn't see that. I was crushed when i heard we traded him. Did i think he was an all star? No, but i've seen enough of him to be given a good look, not trade the guy...
  6. Probably because hitters knows he walks a lot, so why offer at something unless you must?
  7. Game 30 - Miley (LHP) Travis (2pts) - Donaldson (1pt) - Deadpool, Gen.Disarray Bautista (1pt) - flafson Edwin (2pts) - Jonn, Dylan, Frenchsoup, L54, jays4life19, guylaroche5, LetTheBallFly Martin (2pts) - Smoak (3pts) - Saunders (5pts) - Pillar (5pts) - Danny "f***IN" Valencia (6pts) - Atothe, baseballsss, Spanky99 Goins (7pts) - Diaz (6pts) - Carrera (7pts) - Colabello (5pts) - GD
  8. We really need to have someone replace Travis as number 1 and have Travis hit number 2.
  9. Only 3 players qualify from the Blue Jays though, so it's either Martin, Travis or Donaldson...
  10. As i said, he needs to adjust to those low breaking balls. On a positive note, he seems much better with those low breaking balls than other youngsters like Pillar.
  11. Bautista is hitting ok enough, they are not taking him out of the lineup.

  13. Well, he's hitting over .400 when hitting #2, so far at leadoff he's been around .200 hitter. Chances are, we need Reyes in front and the big guys at the back of him to be effective. Unless of course he makes adjustments and stay lock at leadoff.
  14. He was leading the league in home runs allowed when he was a starter last year, i'm pretty sure Rogers Center is the wrong place for him to start.
  15. I honestly don't see how Estrada can survive for multiple innings, he's a 2 pitch guy that relies on changing speeds, his fastball is 89 and changeup is high 70's, he has 0 room for error and he's not that sneaky, i hope he proves me wrong but i just don't see it.
  16. To be fair, starting pitching wasn't much of an issue going into the season, just bullpen. If starters were a bit better and bullpen be still this bad, we would have had an extra 3 wins now. If starters and pen were better, we would be the best team in baseball right now.
  17. Can't believe that we managed to lose...
  18. 2 weeks ago i wouldn't have known about either of them, so that argument is a wash for me
  19. Travis all the way.
  20. Travis (2pts) - o2 Donaldson (1pt) - Bautista (1pt) -baseballsss Edwin (2pts) - Jonn, Frenchsoup, GD, flafson Martin (3pts) - Spanky99 Smoak (2pts) - Saunders (5pts) - Pillar (5pts) - Pompey (4pts) - Valencia (6pts) - jays4life19 Goins (7pts) - Bench (8pts) - Edwin at 2pts is a steal IMO.
  21. I get that but i thought they were very strict with the 1 year rule. Oh well...
  22. That suppose to be easy on the arm? If he's hitting 97, doesn't sound like he's taking it easy for a full year.
  23. Hmm, how come Hoffman is pitching? Isn't he on rehab still?
