    Where did you see that he hasn't started throwing yet? I heard Buck says probably about 4 days ago the he started to throw already, though very short throws. Besides, it's probably too late to DL him now. We have 3 games against the Nationals starting June 1st. Then there are 2 against the Mets on June 15 and 16. If they DL him now it back tracks to May 24, he's he's going to miss all 3 games against the Nationals. Could be ready for Mets. The other option is to shut him down and keep him on the roster, then maybe he will be ok enough for the Nationals.

    His last 2 starts, he had xFIP of 3.76 and 3.26. The previous 3 starts he had xFIP of 5.04, 5.84 and 6.89. So yea, he's improving and the stuff is there, not sure what the argument is.

    Maybe i missed it but what did he say that was so wrong so he doesn't realize it? What i sensed was that Sanchez ain't so bad and he's improving from start to start.

    As long as he can continue to keep up the high velocity with great movement, as long as he aims for the middle of the plate he should be fine. If the velocity goes down and his command doesn't improve, then he might not be so great long term.
