  1. Schneider is no Varsho but he sure gives it his all out there.
  2. Kikuchi shoves against the Yankees.
  3. For f***’s sake he was out by 10 feet.
  4. Not as easy of a plays as it looks from a Stanton bullet, but Bo has to do much better to get in front of that.
  5. Some unreal ABs by Vlad and Bo.
  6. Bowden is effectively taking over White's spot. Long reliever and spot starter for 2-4 innings (usually topping out at 3 IP) most of the time. White has looked terrible, he'll likely get claimed but he's looking like a replacement level stretch arm at this point.
  7. Massive news with Green and Garcia getting some work yesterday, not to mention them carrying our bullpen on their own. Hopefully we can put them into a lower leverage spot today to ease them back into things. Sucks for Pearson, but he'll be back. Haven't quite seen "lights out" stuff from him aside from Sunday, but he looks like a viable middle leverage option. The writing was on the wall for Mitch White, not only has he been awful, the stuff has regressed from late last season/early Spring where it looked like he found some velo. Agreed on Cabrera, he blows. Don't even trust him lefty-lefty, would rather a broken Mayza and changeup specialist Richards any day over him, especially in any sort of spot of significance.
  8. Unfair to Bo who has been a perennial 4-5 win player since his debut. Vlad on the other hand has only been a true "core" like player for 1.5 seasons. Bichette will be fine, he's in a slump right now but I don't think anyone would be surprised to see him carry the offense singlehandedly for the next month, the bat control is too good.
  9. I guess they’re supposed to be crying and hiding their faces in their gloves even if the team wins, thanks in part to their defense I should note.
  10. People would’ve rather kept Trevor Richards over Yimi Garcia lol. Good look finding a reliever as good as this for $6M.
  11. Yimi Garcia might have the best stuff in our bullpen.
  12. IKF has not looked bad at all, he’s slapping balls all over the place. He seems to like hitting at the RC.
  13. The first hit was an 80 mph looper, just landed at the worst possible spot. Doyle destroyed his though, BABIP gods giveth and taketh away.
  14. The Rockies are hilarious. And what an effort from DS, almost broke his neck in the process.
  15. Is Yariel Rodriguez on the 40-man already? I figure he is but unsure. We did just kick Parsons off it and I'm not sure who took over that spot of if we've been saving it for Rodriguez.
  16. Even if Bowden Francis doesn't suck he's probably a 2 times through the order/4 IP pitcher anyway, so they can piggyback each other. The stuff and approaches seems different enough to provide a different look?
  17. Well he doesn't actually throw 98, probably a big reason why everyone has given up on him. His stuff doesn't look the same as it did late last year or early in ST.
  18. If you've seen the recent string of pitcher injuries, then it makes sense to baby a young arm like him. But also he's a pitcher and has gotten injured before, those are the most likely to break again.
  19. Jesus Christ these idiots are f***ing incapable of not derailing a thread. Nobody cares about your political opinions here. There’s plenty of other places to go s*** on the government freely and openly.
  20. Hard hit ball merchant. Also for someone with his strikeout numbers, he doesn't actually get many whiffs or chases at all. So it's good velo but must have terrible shape on his pitches and gets by on sequencing.
  21. This might be one of the worst first innings ever for a guy who only walked one hitter, his last. 40 pitches, 1 swinging strike, 8 hard hit balls - 6 above 99 mph, 4 above 105, 95.7 mph avg exit velo against.
  22. Bobby Witt Jr., who might be a top 5 player in baseball already, just homered. 9-0.
  23. 7 runs now, he's not fooling literally anyone. 30 pitches, no swings and misses, the Royals are poking line drives all over the place like it's batting practice.
  24. The Royals, who are on a 6-game win streak, just put up a 5 spot against the Astros in the first inning. Hunter Brown is getting hit around.
