In their/Stroman's defense, he's definitely tunneling it beautifully with the comeback sinker. They start out in the same spot but one runs back to nick the corner and the other goes completely away from the zone.
Sano was always a high risk profile with his extreme K rate, it just eventually caught up to him. Vlad just legitimately has awful baseball IQ or something, he has no plan and his pitch recognition is probably not as good as anyone thought it would be.
To be fair to Kirk, he has almost 300 more PAs in that same timeframe. Jansen is great but his availability is an issue. You can't rely on him for extended stretches.
Don’t worry, Turner will have the best AB you’ve ever seen culminating in a double, and then the rest will move him over with a weak groundout, then the pop up and another weak groundout.
