  1. Poetic that Chourio would make the final out. Looking likely that this is the only series that goes 3 games.
  2. What a way to blow it by Maton. Huge turn of events in Milwaukee.
  3. Jackson f***ing Chourio. Superstar.
  4. Unfortunately they are a complete and utter failure and the team just isn’t built for playoff baseball. I expect calls to fire the FO and the entire coaching staff soon.
  5. The Tigers might just be the team of destiny.
  6. Disgusting stuff from Michael King. Best performance from a starter today, and there’s been some seriously good ones taking the bump for game 1.
  7. Tatis is incredible. Petco is electric.
  8. He went behind the dish in the 7th or 8th inning after McCann was pinch hit for. He also looked poor there.
  9. Fun to see a high scoring games after some exciting pitcher’s duels.
  10. I think he did get injured at some point this season right? Haven’t kept up with them too much.
  11. Jackson Chourio is gonna be a superstar.
  12. Nightmare start for Severino and the Mets, although they're lucky to only be down 2.
  13. The Mets need to give up on Mark Vientos at 3B. The bat is legit, make the kid into a full time 1B. They can save some money on Pete Alonso who's a FA and replace him at a fraction of the cost. Brewers starting out strong.
  14. Also, damn the Tigers just kept putting in fireballer after fireballer today. Skubal to Vest to Foley to Brieske, every guy was sitting high 90s and touching 100. You could argue these last 3 were a bit too similar to one another, perhaps why the Astros starting stringing together some hits. No easy to hit though.
  15. Holy f***, line drive rocket right at the first baseman. s*** luck for the Astros, big time luck and massive win for the Tigers who don't have home field advantage.
  16. He had a bit of a scare in the 6th, potentially pulled something, trainers came out. I think it was likely preventative so he didn't tweak it further. Didn't seem like an arm issue, potentially back or leg related? I bet that's why he got pulled when he did.
  17. He has no knees.
  18. Ragans and Skubal both electric today.
  19. Potentially bold move by the Astros to use Hader down 3. Especially in a non-elimination game where you might want to use him in high leverage in the two following outings.
  20. Ronald Acuna's little brother Luisangel has the exact same swing as his older bro. It's uncanny, and kind of awesome to see.
  21. "Grant Holmes had no idea he was starting this game until the conclusion of Game 1" What? Do the Braves even want to make the postseason?
  22. If you're the Mets front office you're hoping Lucchesi makes it through 6-7, getting absolutely shelled, so they can put in Eddy Alvarez or some s*** to clean up the last couple of innings.
  23. Apparently Chris Sale has been scratched with back spasms for game 2. Unclear if they're just doing this to save face and have him ready for Game 1 of the Wild Card series, but won't face backlash if they lose and questions are raised on why he wasn't put in.
  24. 100%, they need to toss out their version of Ryan Yarbrough for 8 innings and some other scrub should throw the last, ideally they're losing big so they can just put their worst position player on the mound. Lindor, Nimmo, Iglesias? should all be sitting. None of their good players or banged up good players. If they win they win, but it means nothing to them.
  25. Incredible game.
