  1. Early start time today - April 1 @ 1:07 EST versus LHP Kyle Freeland Springer (1) Schneider (3) - Jonn, Orgfiller Vlad (1) Kaz(2) Kirk (3) Clement (3) Sanchez (2) Straw (5) Gimenez (3) Bench (10) - mphenhef
  2. It seems like they’re respecting Okamoto’s ability to hit velocity, lots of breaking pitches there which I don’t think he was expecting. He’ll adjust as the season moves along.
  3. The 3-0 HR from the other day not good enough for you?
  4. Sweet swing from Sanchez. Come on Vlad, wake up bro.
  5. These line drive outs are killing us. We have a .312 xBA but nothing to show for it.
  6. To me, Clement is the definition of when announcers go on about having “quick hands”. He’s able to transfer and fire with the best of them.
  7. He’s so good. Smooth and in control at all times. Such a breath of fresh air after years of Bo lol.
  8. Yeah but he was 22 in A and A+ and a physical specimen, if he didn't do well there then he likely would have been released right there and then. Big difference in a teenager who has room to grow physically vs a 3-year college player that's basically maxed out. The latter pretty much have to perform right away, since the low minors - especially in Judge's day pre minor leagues contraction - was a similar level or sometimes worse than the college one.
  9. Give me Gimenez for today. Would do the copy/paste thing but not sure if the points have changed.
  10. Followed it up by hitting a moonshot to pretty straight CF on a 99 mph heater.
  11. Probably didn't need to tell anyone this who watched the game, but Cody Ponce shoved. The whiff rate lol - 15 swings and misses on 47 total pitches is absurd. Please be not seriously injured king 🙏
  12. Didn't see this posted anywhere, but Tatsuya Imai struggled in his debut against the Angels. Didn't make it out of the third, walked 4 and struck out 4. The stuff was...okay, kind of mid. Fastball velo decent but none of the pitches graded particularly well. He did get a few swings and misses on a number of his pitches at least. Obviously smallest possible sample.
  13. The lights flicker in the stadium on home runs.
  14. It’s the Rockies but Ponce has 13 whiffs on 43 pitches lol. Edit: add another to the tally
  15. That was an elite swing. 97 driven the opposite field with serious authority.
  16. Always a day off with these. f***
  17. 100%. His one handed check swings never get called somehow. It’s like a super talent.
  18. I really don’t think it was a bad decision, Soderstrom pulled out a crazy move to avoid the tag but for most runners there he’s a dead duck.
  19. Lmao Denzel Clarke. One of the worst challenges you’ll see, made particularly egregious by the fact that seemingly the A’s haven’t been able (allowed?) to challenge most of this series.
