    Tanaka is at 52 pitches following that first strike. Seems like pitchtracker has issues at Yankee Stadium, as this isn't the first time it has disappeared.

    Empirical evidence shows that Francisco Liriano projects about 0.3 runs better than Dickey as a starter, and Bolsinger and Feldman around the same (though the latter projects primarily as a reliever). And let's not even discuss the difference between Thole and Martin.

    I mean sure I want to win too, but we have Liriano, Feldman and Bolsinger who could probably contribute just as much if not more than Dickey. I don't really care what does and doesn't concern you, I think you would find similar feelings towards RA across the fanbase more than any other pitcher.

    He's by far the most frustrating pitcher we have to watch. If this was Estrada or Sanchez giving up the lead two batters in, I would be okay with it, but this is a sight we have seen too often. The reactionary part comes from Dickey pulling this kind of crap ALL THE TIME.

    I'm not sure what the Yankees were doing, but if a mental mistake was involved Bautista should have taken advantage.

    Wtf was that Bautista? Either go back to third or keep running from the start.

    Actually he's swinging at less pitches than his entire tenure with the Blue Jays. His struggles aren't really related to plate discipline, it probably has more to do with his batted ball profile this season. An increase in infield flies would appear to be his biggest issue this season.
