  1. He was BPA there. I don't them hard-lining Bickford. If he doesn't come in under slot he isn't worth it.
  2. Kind of like this... I'm hoping AA takes a run at Miguel Gonzalez this year and is aggressive in next year's draft. He has to sign Brentz + Tellez or this will be a very thin and disappointing draft class.
  3. I'd love to see AA get in on some these guys
  4. I don't think he gets anywhere close to Mauer with the bat. Wont walk enough for a high OBP, has to grow in to power and doesn't have the bat speed to make elite contact at the MLB level (I do suspect the hit tool plays though). IMO he just doesn't have any plus tools on the offensive side of the ball.
  5. Gose+? Taillon would be a great addition.
  6. Long ways away from that status. I think he has a really good shot to be that player eventually as well but we are talking years, not months, of improvement to get there.
  7. Marc Hulet in the comments; Surprised I didn't see any AJ fanboys raging over there as well.
  8. Been positioned that way since the draft. AA needs to close the deals not just set himself up to sign both of them. As you said though, I hope Jimmy is right, that would be a nice haul!
  9. Austin hedges would be a good prospect to target.
  10. I'm far more interested in the Braves' pitching than Upton and Gattis.
  11. Where would you rate Tellez? The impressions I have is that he would slot after Unroe but ahead of O'Neil. How doe sthe bat compare to Dom Smith's?
  12. $1.2M for Tellez, $800k for Brentz and AA will have had a great draft even without Bickford. (Saving the pick for next year might even be a bonus).
  13. Sorry I mean Wheeler + d'Arnaud + Niese
  14. Syndergaard + d'Arnaud + Niese
  15. Use him at 3B, shift Lawrie to 2B...
  16. Any chance the Jays could land Castellanos for Janssen (probably +)?
  17. Nothing since extended spring. The stuff from last year is probably out of date. Projectable big bonus righty from the D.R. though. Already clocked over 90 and some think he could sit mid-90's one day.
  18. On the bright side if the Jays keep playing like this we could be looking at two top 10 picks in a deep draft...!
  19. No worries man! I know I like following the prospects with everyone around here. We've been missing a couple prominent posters from the old board which is unfortunate.
  20. Buy low on Starlin Castro in the package?
  21. Should've made a poll to confirm. Who's starting the new thread; Potential Trade Targets in That We're Panicking (or in AA's case Picnicking).
  22. Forgot the Lipchitz player of the day goes to Ricky Romero for making it past the third inning. Honorable mentions go to Gose and Labourt.
  23. King if you wanted to do one of your premium recaps with images it would be appreciated. Thought I'd take the reigns here as I know there were a couple guys we are all following, in Lawrie and Romero, playing.
