The Tigers could see themselves as more committed to this season and still not a true contender. They might not overpay for one of the Jays' players but, their only movable asset of significant value is Castellanos. Perhaps the Tigers go all in and ship out Castellanos in a package for a piece or two that puts them over the top.
The Braves still have a ton of guys on the DL and could be looking to buy. I suspect they'll stand pat until the off-season at this point. There are other teams out there looking to respond to these moves, like CLE, OAK and TEX, though. In the NL there are 4-6 potential buyers as well.
