It's nice when they're relevant and lose. Hope they don't win a WS in my lifetime though.

100%, I just don't find their lineup that scary. Great rotation, defense and baserunning, solid BP and offense.

We were only ever talking offense. I'd take Heyward over Jose in terms of the total package. Lets also remember Russell has never played a full season even in the minor leagues. I'm doubtful that he'll play more than Tulo and assuming both will miss some time.

C -- Martin over Montero 1B -- Edwin and Rizzo are a wash 2B -- Travis and Zobrist will be about the same but edge to Zobrist 3B -- JD over Bryant because Bryant's K rate is scary and JD is the MVP SS -- Tulo well ahead of Russell LF -- Schwarber over Revere by a lot and Saunders by a bit CF -- Pillar over Soler but it'll be close. Soler will just strikeout way too much RF -- Joey bats over Heyward IMO really only one position where the Cubs are clearly better offensively and ~4 spots for the Jays.

Because they are all under 30 I would too but for 2016 I take the Jays easily.

Stro is the fifth starter until he fails. Estrada because he's at his career high for innings and has been slowing down lately. Hutch because he's been so inconsistent and good stuff would play up in the pen. IMO Hutch is the guy to move but if you feel Estrada's workload had caught up to him then he's a good choice as well.

Ya, sorry that's what I meant. Guessing I misread the whole post then. FWIW they also wont go with 6 starters. Hutch or Estrada will be moved to the BP before then.

There's no way they pitch Stro, Estrada or Buehrle on 4 days rest unless it's an emergency

Very true but this BP is incredibly deep; helping to mitigate any blips that may pop up. Cecil and Osuna are great backend guys but if they falter they have Sanchez, Lowe, Hawkins, Delabar and others to back them up. That's a huge strength for September and hopefully the post season.

The BP is dominant now. Osuna and Cecil are basically locks for a clean innings. Hard to believe that the BP was one of the team's biggest weaknesses going in to June.

They give you a card that acts as your ticket for all of the games; that's the collectible. Even better the card lets you use a digital wallet, has your discounts loaded on it and whatever else you'd need or want. It's a better fan experience than a paper-based system and a HUGE financial commitment from the Blue Jays. I for one welcome the digitization and hope they continue to expand it.

He doesn't. Basically said everyone (including himself) is guilty of lapses in intensity at times but they are holding each other accountable. That's what it takes to win and I'm glad they have that clubhouse culture now.
