    I can see J.J signing with the Angels for something like 1/10 - 1/11. No way does he do more than a 1 year.

    I would think all players have teams where they don't want to go. I would think Cano has places where he knows that he won't want to sign. However we have signed some decent free agents in the passed that have enjoyed it here.

    I don't agree with the notion that people won't sign in Canada. Obviously there are some that won't but I think that there are more people that will sign here if we are the highest bidder.

    One question I think you have to ask is can we do better for less or the same amount in free agency and I do think there are better options out there.

    Can't see us giving him a Q.O. If we were a little bit closer I would say yes but J.J is not going make or break us so I say save the money and go fishing in the Free Agent pool.

    What bothers be is that Kawasaki can play 2nd/3rd/SS very very well and he would be a great option for a defensive replacement or offer something. I think he is worth the extra 250,000. I know DeRosa is not guaranteed a roster spot but i can see it happening.

    To be honest I don't see Jimenez providing much more value. Maybe it is just me being pessimistic because every catcher that comes through are system is s***.

    I would like to see him get dealt this winter for a younger player because from this point on his value is going to do nothing but drop, however I can't see Beest wanting to trade a "fan favorite". Another point I don't think a theory of a hitting coach on any team will apply to all players. Part of being a hitting coach is adapting to players and I can't see Seitzer going to do too much tinkering with Jose.

    Jimenez I could do with out. I see him being a backup catcher anyways, but if we give up one of those 3 pitchers for just Beckham I will lose my s***.

    f*** forgot all about the waiver draft. When is the Waiver Draft compared to the time you have to have your roster set?

    Ya I got a s*** load on my roster right now and I am trying to figure it out. I would say 11 hitters, 6 Starters, 3 Relievers. Pitching is not really my concern at the moment I fell like I got some reliability now this year unlike last with additions of Gray and Wacha next season (Hoping they can continue what they are doing). There are some hitting positions that are big question marks so I wanna carry an extra bat or 2. I think it is really is where you think you got the most depth and reliability. But the off season is not done yet so that could change.
