    mmmmmmm.... OK: 1. Reds are not worried about Vottos contract 1 year after they signed it. 2. Votto is one of the best hitters in the game so it would take probably more than him let alone adding a top pitcher.

    Selig is a f***ing joke. He hits A-Rod with a baseless suspension which would cement his "legacy" and he does not have the balls to testify in court during the hearing. This thing is getting shadier and shadier by the day. I never thought that Selig and the Yanks would be working together against A-Rod but I am starting to think that it might be the case.

    The way I see it you judge on current value and Syndergaard and D'Arnuad had way more value than a 40 year old pitcher. You never judge a trade of could happen. Fact is a fair trade with those 2 packaged could / should have got us WAY more than just Dickey.

    I have always pronounced it A.A as in the meeting he may send me too if this off season turns out the way most of us think it will.

    The sad thing is I COULD see Izzy as possible bounce back player. I could see some teams possibly having interest in him if the price is next to nothing.

    And he is not a Backup catcher like you have mentioned. A backup is someone who plays good defense but has a below average bat. JPA is Below average in all aspects of the game.

    I think really what he means is that there are a bunch of catchers available he should have some leverage when it comes to making a deal.

    It is f***ing dumb. All this is about is Selig trying to measure his dick over the war on steroids. If he suspends arod for over 200 games he is going to feel like he is the big s***. I am not an Arod fan by any means and even I can tell you that this is f***ed. I hope Arod comes out of this with a well reduced sentence so Selig looks like the f*** wad he is.

    No problem moving Rasmus to RF and Gose to CF. Defense in the outfield would be vastly improved. I think it is time we get off the Bautista bandwagon before it crashes and I think it could be any year now.

    I know the Royals are really interested in him but it would not surprise me if AA tries to bring him back in the 9-10M Range.

    If we can get Happ, JPA, Bau (Should be dealt) off the books that frees up a lot of salary. Not very hard to figure out

    I saw somewhere that the reds expect a good prospect from him. They don't need outfielders so Gose is out of the picture, I am not willing to give up Sanchez or Stroman for him what else do we have that they may want. Unless we expand the deal even then I really don't know where to start. I am a big fan of acquiring Hanigan if it does not involve Stroman or Sanchez.

    He is a #3 #4 rotation guy apparently that's all we got lol. He is a good strikeout pitcher but gets hit around a lot and can have control problems. Not the kind of guy I would want in our division.

    I kind of like the idea that they loose their last challenge if they are wrong so they have to at least be positive of the play and managers don't just challenge all willy nilly. Also did they mention what plays are not challengeable?

    Could not be a much worse then last year. I am sure if you give one of those guys spring training to work with him they could do just as good of job as Thole.
