    To add to Ang if anyone knows where you could find a modern age complete games list I would love to see where Doc Ranks. Those pitchers in 1900's are stupid to compare too lol.

    I would say if he won a WS that he would be a lock, but nothing is too flashy on his line. However I do think he was one of the most dominating pitchers for the generation. He did not strike a lot of guys out because he always put the ball on the ground. I don't take the HOF too seriously now anymore anyways.

    I am guessing that his arm issues from last year are a little more serious then originally thought and had a set back this offseason. I hope he does not try to come back as I would hate for him to be one of those guys that bounces around trying to get another chance.

    Really s*****. I was always hoping he could have one more decent year so he did not go out on a down year. Class act guy and should / WILL be the next number retired by the organization.

    I am guessing that they are going to announce a new first base coach. A signing or extension or trade would likely already be getting leaked a bit.

    I was going to say I had a few levels and it was 50 but that was 8 years ago now not sure what the going rate is anymore. I am getting old. The nice thing about it is that after any game if there was any disputes or anything I would more likely have a coach come up to me and say they appreciate what I am doing and said I did a good job. Its part of the game to argue with umps as I have been on both sides, however that was s***.

    This pisses me off as I used to Ump quite a bit in high school and college and you don't make much and I guarantee you they have 2nd jobs and are doing this for a little extra cash. I got no respect for people like that. If that ump had got hurt there I guarantee nothing would have happened to them. Makes me sick. I can tell you right now that nobody in the MLB would do that to a umpire because they now damn well what would happen to them.

    Even Ackley would be a solid upgrade from what we had last season and I am not sure we would have to pay a whole lot to get our hands on him.

    Oh for sure nobody is going to have a 100% healthy rotation. If we have a guy like Hutch and Happ and Stroman waiting in the wings. That could be huge. Sure the hell beats who we were giving innings to last season.

    Exactly. Same kind of a deal as Dickey. Give us a window to negotiate and you can have Sanchez. I have no issues with that.
