  1. Heard that also...but doesnt mean it's true....but, good gawd it sure seems bad! But lets face it...most players were doing this!..Just read Jim Boutins Foul Ball
  2. anybody can skew any stat to suit their likes and dislikes.....I just ignore the ones i find useless! .........But carry on because someone does like your choices!
  3. I think it was due to Ryu's medical history not his on mound history!
  4. This front office has shown they are in it for the long term, therefore I doubt Bo gets moved off SS in the foreseeable future. Especially for a player who most likely is a one and done as a Jay.
  5. They may be more careful with Kay than Roark!...same reasons why people have old junker cars for the winter! LOL
  6. well...now the Yankees now know how it feels to be the jays playing the Rays!! Having said that...do the small things right and the big things takes care of themselves!
  7. With Moreno and Adams in the farm, I probably would trade Kirk if and when a proper trade came up. I have zero info on Lopez to comment on this mentioned trade but I wouldnt be against trading Kirk for a possible long term pitcher (but....is there such a thing??). I'm sold on Kirk being a MLB catcher....just not sure for how long though before his body breaks down unless he does more of a transformation....IMHO he's only half way there for getting in shape.
  8. Absolute cruel!....hopefully no copyright on it so I can borrow it!!
  9. Never heard of that issue before.....how long is he out??
  10. Still no pitching announced...money is on Kay!
  11. Oh trust me, I love seeing that but longevity can be an issue.
  12. I hope it is also...as far as I'm concerned Roark is strictly a mop up role blow-out games. Im sure after Pearson and hopefully Hatch comes back that some changes are in the works. Roark should be happy with his 12 million dollar golden handshake.
  13. The most enjoyment i ever got was watching the 1980 Expos with Dawson, Rodney Scott (alltime fav player) and a 20 yrs old Rock Raines. Excitement on the base paths every game!
  14. yeah....and sounds like Hatch could be maybe another 6 weeks after Pearson (no idea how or why Im saying 6 weeks..LOL). "If" the Jays have no further injuries to the pitching staff, they may have a decent starting staff after all. Im wondering when will MLB baseballs will get away away from power pitchers and go back to more "guile" type of pitchers to save on arm injuries. Sit around 93 mph for majority of pitches but still be able to crank it up a few more notches as required when in a nasty situation. Just like in real estate, the importance is "location location location", save on starters and bullpens and on fans nerves and hair loss!
  15. I guess that happens when you dont have split squads for ST games
  16. who would be in this competition...Morales and Caudill??
  17. Im looking forward to seeing some his 93 mph sludge!
  18. do we get Davis on second leading off the 10th??...he made the last out.
  19. Staff takes on a total different look once we have Pearson and Ray back......even Anthony Kay. I doubt if Roark lasts till end of May...maybe sooner.
