  1. It was discerning for me last week where i read that Pearson would like to hit 110 mph.....good grief with goals like that we'll never see him healthy let alone have some sort of control.
  2. Yeah...gimme Max Scherzer!...If McGuire alone won't close the deal I would be willing to toss in Panik! (only if required though)
  3. Yeah....but is there a need?.......😂
  4. I know that Stripling is maybe a 7th or lower starter on a contending team but we need him right now as a starter. But it seems he struggles at the start of a game. Would it be worthwhile to have him come in as the second pitcher in game? He's good for 4 innings maybe 5 so they have at least 3 pitchers scheduled that day anyways!
  5. and Matz also!...a lot better than we (well, me!) thought he would be so far!...lets see if they can carry it through season long!
  6. Agreed....the greatest ability an athlete can have is "availability"!
  7. a lot of me want to see the Mets keep on keeping on making s***** trades!....well, too be honest any New York teams in any sport!
  8. Yeah...he can play through this, its not like he's 23 yrs old yet!
  9. Hmmm good question but I think the last time he pitched was in 1952!
  10. Wish it wasn't the case but yes.....or bring him up with severe innings limits. What do you think his innings limits are?...I have no clue and speculating maybe 80 to 100? He'll probably burn 20 to 25 in minors if he gets called up which leaves just approx 60 to 80 in the majors. I have no idea what they Jays brass thinking is so we shall see. Regardless what they decide we'll be bitchin and moaning about it!
  11. at the end of the season and hopefully into the playoffs. Lets see how things are going for the next little while, if in the WC hunt or better, I say leave them in minors with innings limits then call up for the playoff push! Hate to use up all their innings and lose them for the playoffs (if the Jays make it)
  12. Agreed....why waste his "innings" for too long in the minors! I know he probably needs some innings in the minors but June/July sounds good.
  13. yes, of course!...Thank-you!
  14. Thank-you I honestly like that idea....reminds me of the Baseball Academy that the Royals had back in the 70's. Staying in one location working on skills and fundamentals can be beneficial more so than a lengthy schedule of games!
  15. where does a player like Dasan Brown play???
  16. Yes......and by the 3rd inning the wife will have gone to bed!
  17. According to Buck.....9 quadrants in a strike zone so there's actually then 36 locations in strike zone?
  18. is there a roster out yet for the Jays entire minor league teams? Except of course for short season teams.
  19. Yeah..."Cuffs" Caudill sure handcuffed the Jays with his contract! Was Tom Candiotti a free agent?....(life lesson...stay away from knuckleballers)
  20. well...prior to him giving a chick HIV....a chick gave it to him! Imagine if Wilt Chamberlain was alive today?....
  21. Yeah...maybe I should have been more precise....having groupies up to the rooms!
