As it stands, two out of 4 the teams outfielders are likely to be rookies and the second baseman will either be a rookie or a scrub. Having Zobrist makes the lineup deeper and more versatile and a lot less vulnerable at those positions. It's a really, really good fit and would greatly solidify the playoff chances. Given the Jays position on the win curve, it would be worth making sacrifices to get him. Norris would hurt a lot since he is likely to be needed in the rotation as soon as this year but a younger asset like Osuna or even Miguel Castro might well be worth sacrificing.
