  1. I have no issue with it either but I will say that it's a bit contradictory compared to the way they are treating Sanchez. You could easily make the same kind of argument about needing to work on some stuff for demoting Sanchez and you could certainly argue that Delabar working on his secondary stuff is less essential given the role he's vying for.
  2. I kind of see those ase seperate things. Delabar has opitons and if they want him to work on things in the minors, that's no big deal. Why Osuna was the next candiate in line is what's questionable
  3. The 1998 lineup was pretty good: http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/TOR/1998.shtml BR lists Sprague as the 3B but Tony Fernandez actually got more playing time and put up an excellent slash line.
  4. Pretty much the opening day lineup depending on what happens with Saunders and whether the team is facing a lefty or a righty.
  5. I think Castro has already leaped Delabar on the depth chart.
  6. I sense a board meme. We should post this everytime someone plays armchair doctor.
  7. That could mean anything.
  8. Here's an English tip for you. Always write out double play. DP-partners just sounds nasty.
  9. Graveman's pretty awesome. I hope he finds success in Oakland. He help land Donaldson so there's no reason for ill will.
  10. Offensively, Tolleson's strength is hitting lefties which is not really a big concern with this team. Thats' why though I like Tolleson in a vaccum, I'm comfortable letting him go. I can't really see him sticking on the roster all year anyways. It's probably DFA him now or DFA him later so might as well see if you can sneak him past waivers now.
  11. I'd prefer Goins too because of the better SS defense. The only catch is that Tolleson is out of options.
  12. Yeah I wasn't too proud of Stroman in that moment but it's kind of hilarious that it was just a big misunderstanding.
  13. He said "compared to". He didn't say she was a flat out dog.
  14. He only walked 3.1 actually which for Sanchez would be a career best. If you're defense of Sanchez is that Norris is bad too then it's not much of a defense because Sanchez is clearly worse.

Did anyone think for a second that Lou might pass that ball? Saw that coming a mile away and The Pistons probably did too.
  16. What BTS says may seem cocky but it's not just arrogance, it's also based on observation of situations such as the Eric Thames scenario and the Moises Sierra scenario.
  17. Estrada is a 4 million dollar decision. That makes all the difference IMO.
  18. I think you have good chances either way. At the end of camp, teams are facing roster crunches of their own. Two weeks in and it's early to give up on whoever you gave a chance to.
  19. Izturis will have one dl stint one and one rehab assignment for the Jays to determine if they still need him. If Travis keeps up the hot hitting, they won't.
  20. If you have the most money and you're not driving up the market, you're doing it wrong.
  21. Leveraging their financial muscle. If you have more money than anybody else than money is also worth less to you than to anybody else. That's your edge so you might as well use it.
  22. He's both out of options and a worthy candidate so yeah, he totally should be a lock.
