  1. So the trick is just to never cut? Always delete instead?
  2. Can you be a bit more precise? What exactly messes up the error checking sheet? Hard to avoid doing it if I don't know what "it" is.
  3. I deleted assets and then I cut and pasted assets from lower cells on to their place.
  4. I activated two guys and took them out of the sheet already. I'm going to be dumping some guys too.
  5. It's been nice to see that through. My lack of patience with prospects has been very destructive to my team. I've let a lot of good ones slip through my fingers.
  6. Pressure to stay... mounting. (Seriously though I would never quit when my team is this bad. I would at least try to pass on something decent.)
  7. MiLB all-star games have pretty loose criteria. They don't really mean anything thought they usually try to convince the players otherwise. I'd argue that MiLB guys should all just get the time off.
  8. So did anyone mention/notice how hard it was raining during the 9th? I just spoke to someone who told me it wasn't that obvious on TV but there was a ton of rain in Boston that day and at that point it was really pouring. That might have played a factor in the performance.
  9. Yeah... That's an intriguing possibility. Tabler might be acting as someone else's mouth piece.
  10. I highly recommend not following athletes on social media.
  11. Yes but since we're not pitching expects and don't actually understand this, we can easily be duped by something that is "logically sound". Sure it sounds good. I don't disagree with that but I'm not aware that Tabler has any real expertise in this matter and since I don't have any either, I'm in no position to take this at face value.
  12. Not to be a dick but what does Tabler know about pitching?
  13. Just going to give you a light critique that hopefully you'll find constructive (or at least not too snotty). I'm hardly an expert in English and I make no claims to being a good writer but I did notice a few things that seemed a little off. Firstly, You use the passive voice a lot. Is that a bad thing? I'm not so sure but I do know that a lot of people frown upon it. I think if nothing else you should be aware of it especially if it's not a conscious decision. I just get the general sense that there's a lack of consistency with verb tense choices. I think it's something you might want to look at. Sorry for how vague this critique is. Secondly, you use a lot of one sentence paragraphs. This is a bit of a pet peeve of mine. I understand, for instance, why you might want to separate out the different points relative to the Rule 5 draft but maybe bullets points could have been used as an alternative to a series of one sentence paragraphs in that case. O.K. Hope you don't mind the feedback and good luck with the blog!
  14. I did worse. I noticed and wrote him off.
  15. I always suspected he was big into cream cheese.

Surprised this hasn't been posted yet. [h=1]Dwane Casey, Raptors agree to 3-year deal: report[/h]http://www.cbc.ca/sports/basketball/nba/dwane-casey-toronto-raptors-1.3612864
  17. Yeah I'd agree with that and we've certainly seen such scenarios play out in the past. Last two years have been good. Stroman's injury last year has been the only major DL stint out of the rotation in the last calendar year. (Knock on wood and all that).
  18. So much pitching depth and no injuries to force the team to use it. That's been a huge positive so far.
  19. Mookie Betts is sooooooooo great. My team is soooooooooooo s***.
  20. That's Gibby's m.o. though. Trial and error bullpen management.
  21. The irony is that Stroman is probably worse at this point. But I like the "idea" of seeing Stroman for the first time even though it's during the worst stretch of his young career
  22. I'm pretty pumped that Dickey has been moved up to Friday. The wife and I have tickets to the Saturday and Sunday games. Was kind of bummed about a Dickey start (not that Stroman is a guaranteed win or anything).
