    Even though it came against the Bisons, it's nice to see Dreamboat Danny turn it around. I know a lot of people got kind of annoyed at him last year but it's not entirely his fault that the media overhyped him and since then he's had to face the kind of adversity you wouldn't wish on anyone. I want to see him succeed.

    The 3 you mentioned above provide rotation depth in AAA. That's something you need.

    Loup does have options though I don't see any reason to use one unless his rehab is going poorly. He's better than Girodo or Venditte though even Venditte would probably make an effective loogy if he were actually used that way.

    He seems to have the yips or something in spring training last year. Possibly nerves. Was fine once the game started counting. Zaun is really reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaching to create controversy on this one.

    I would assume day to day. Not injured enough for the DL but enough to justify keeping Goins around a little longer.

The talented young second baseman has been rehabbing at High-A Dunedin and Triple-A Buffalo in recent weeks and he was not expected to rejoin the team for its current series against the Yankees. However, Travis has progressed to the point where he's ready to go, so he'll be activated ahead of Wednesday's contest. It's unclear if he'll immediately rejoin the lineup, but once he works into his regular role at second base, Darwin Barney and Ryan Goins will see reduced playing time at the keystone. Travis hit .273 with two doubles in 22 at-bats during his rehab assignment.

    Very meh on this. I don't think getting him to waive his no trade should be treated like it's a mere formality. Dude was pissed when the Rockies traded him and since there's no shortstop in place and his value is pretty low, it just seems pointless to even discuss it with him. Might as well ride the bounce back, keep eating salary and revisit this down the line. The less money left on the deal, the more movable he is anyways and if you combine that with an uptick in performance he becomes a positive asset.
