I don't disagree with that but it did say there may be some classification changes for teams. I'm not super up to date on the stadium qualities of these teams but I'd have to think that it would be part of the equation.
I would be interested to see how the market for Eric Thames, Corey Dickerson, and Yasiel Puig shapes up. Other than maybe Puig I feel like they are both good short term options.
Not that he was even close to it, but has the only shortstop that we have had that was elite Tony Fernandez? I know that Alex Gonzalez and Eddie Zoskey were highly thought of, but in our history we've only had one elite shortstop.
Does anyone recall what the Astros looked like before their 3 consecutive 100 lost seasons? It seems like their 2010 team was younger than our team was last year on average.
I wonder what Atkins time frame is like in regards to the rebuild.
I'd actually be interested in seeing like a Top 30 prospects list for each season along with maybe a couple guys who weren't well regarded but ended up as something (ex. Chris Woodward). Anyone know if it exists or be interested in doing it. Maybe one of the prospect guys? I think it could be rather neat.
I like limiting commercials between half innings and the pitch clock, but am kinda surprised the PA was okay decreasing September roster spots by 12. Does anyone know if those players on the 40 are part of the union? Also, does anyone know what happens if a player is DFA and signs a minors deal with another team, do they remain in the union? I would think that would half to.
