  1. I bet they came over from the Rays board after last nights fiasco.
  2. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aw poor kid.
  3. That stadium looks so empty. It's as bad as when I interned with the 76ers when they were bad (the last time they were, not now)
  4. I'm following on Gameday. Is Morrow really struggling as much as it seems?
  5. He probably doesn't understand half of what she says. Lind doesn't get women or left-handed pitching.
  6. For me it's nice to know that catcher is no longer an offensive black hole like it was last year. The homer or nothing approach is just dreadful.
  7. Sigh, yeah. Although, Chucks are pretty neat. I got these for my brothers birthday.
  8. God some people can be stupid. Knowing the difference between a "trader" and "traitor" is something a 3rd grader learns in English class.
  9. He's the top 11th catcher. There's nothing to brag about with that.
  10. I'm going to really like watching the chaos that will be unleashed when the Phillies just implode. Amaro's head will be paraded around town.
  11. I'll bite. I have a bet going on at work that the Jays will finish better than the Phillies. As of right now I'm feeling pretty comfortable that those two dollars will be mine!
  12. I want to believe that that is the case. He probably saw the flexibility clusterf*** that is our bullpen and realized that he most likely wasn't going to be part of it (at least at the start) and wanted to go elsewhere.
  13. That picture looks like it should be in a Abercombie Plus-Size ad.
  14. I wonder what he'll say to a young hotshot player who calls him out for having his career fizzle out before he's 30 like he did with Dirk.
  15. I know it isn't very major but Fred Lewis signed with my hometown Lancaster Barnstormers of the Atlantic League. It's the same team that Bonaparte Tallet pitched for last year.
  16. Okay. I'm just saying that I feel like we're in a unique situation because we seem to have too many starters who are out of options instead of relievers. I'm trying to think of ways were we keep the starters stretched out for when Mac or Morrow break without having to risk losing one to waivers.
  17. I'm wondering if a 6 man rotation would be out of the question as it would keep an extra out-of-option pitcher stretched out just in case someone like Morrow goes down with an injury while also giving our glass pitchers like Mac and Morrow an extra day of rest. Just a thought.
  18. Sounds like a trick that was mastered through years of trying to keep the naked ladies covered when the parents are around.
  19. But did he do it handsomely?
  20. There needs to be at least a little return on the investment they made in him. Tell him he's starting, tell him he's relieving, just give him a role and let him sink or swim.
  21. I can only imagine that the TJ recovery didn't go as planned and his arm is dead. If that's the case and he attempts a comeback as a knuckleballer we'll sign him and have cornered the knuckleball market.
  22. I down really see what Cubs get out of this. Matthew Scioscia is a first baseman who is old for his league who cannot hit. Gretzky at least looks like he has a little bit of potential.
  23. Moving both Sierra and Izzy and maybe one reliever would really clean up the 40 man well.
