  1. I hope the Jays never draft anyone named Dillion Samuels, Tommy Anders, or Justin Taylor.
  2. Lucky 6000 and I agree. No GDT except Kings.
  3. Someone's showing off the new thesaurus they just got.
  4. I imagine having to go through customs more frequently would be a bummer. Although when I went to Vancouver the customs agent that we had was very pleasant. But it did add on about 45 minutes to our travel time.
  5. Actually Dickey would probably be the best piece that RAJ has gotten when trading away his star players.
  6. I believe they go until all teams no longer want to draft players.
  7. This probably has to do with their limited budget. If they don't get the money they want high schoolers can always go to college or JC and their stock rarely falls.
  8. You're going to get number 10 for this. I can feel it.
  9. Dayton Moore and Brian Cashman top 10? I get it, he's trollin! And Jack Z at 20?
  10. Shhhhhhhhhhhhh that's against league rules!
  11. Let Tim Raines try his hand at Davis.
  12. Davis strikes out a ton without plus power and has speed but looks like he can't translate it into stealing bases efficiently. He's been a few years younger than the average of all the leagues he's been in, but it seems as though he can barely keep his head afloat in them. Alford on the other hand was preoccupied with football so his baseball statistics don't really mean anything because he only played a couple of weeks and then it was football time. I don't think Davis is nothing, but I'd put Alford ahead of him of prospect lists.
  13. He also has shown the ability to actually make decent contact. His average is only a few points below his OBS. If he refines his approach so he isn't swinging at all the balls he does he could probably be a little bit above average hitter which would make for a very good 4th outfielder or average semi-regular.
  14. Remember a few years ago when we would rejoice when JPA took a walk? Pillar hasn't gotten to that point quite yet. He actually only has 6 more to go than JPA had all of 2013.
  15. I don't think that it's a terrible idea as long as Harris is talented. Maybe he has indicated that he'll sign for a little below slot so we can do something like we did with the Alford pick a few years back.
  16. Oakland always trying to come up with a new market inefficiency. I imagine amphibious pitchers would be undervalued!
  17. First 10 picks batters to counteract the 10 pitchers draft?
  18. Tampa won games because their entire organization used statistics to get the maximum production out of their players. Their GM acquired players who could supplement others, and their manager followed through using the correct platoons and shifts that the information given to him suggested he do.
  19. Didn't Jack Z just get a fairly sizable contract extension?
  20. Mushroom is hot right now but I don't want him to take away at bats from Smoak. With a 3rd baseman who has a hard time throwing to first we need someone who can catch a ball thrown 4 feet from the target.
  21. They seem supportive. I don't see his dad trying to alter Dalton's stance.
  22. After they are done they go to Denny's and get Grand Slams.
  23. We put infielders in the outfield, the M's put outfielders in the infield. Pretty soon all their position players will be outfielders.
  24. Mark Trumbo is going to the Mariners. Jack Z is continuing to collect players who can't really play the field.
  25. You make it sound so eeeeeeeeeeeeeasy. Smokey for GM!
