    I went to school for broadcasting and our school TV station had 1 news program, 2 gameshows, and like 6 sports shows that we filmed every week. Just based on those guys that did the sports shows, sports broadcasters are DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMB. None of them had insight, it was all the same cliche crap like "put the bat on the ball," "protect the quarterback," etc in their analysis of games. The face that those keys to the game are so stupid does not surprise me.

    I don't feel like Gibby is the problem. Our starters didn't do half bad but how do you manage a lineup of guys that should be on the DL but aren't and AAAA fodder? That's on management.

    After JD questions Gibby's use of the bullpen, Gibby challenges him to a fight, which happens and JD trips on a seam in the turf and hurts himself. Both are labeled "competitors" and neither are disciplined.

    I drink bourbon when I watch the Jays because it's the only thing that makes me feel okay when the Jays pitching staff falls apart and we lose after scoring 5 runs.

    Probably moving, but I don't know if Montreal is in the cards. Florida is filled with retirees who already root for their home teams. It's actually kinda neat when you find a bar/restaurant that is themed for a sports team that isn't native to the area. It's the only state that will have Phillies themed bars that aren't in PA or southern Jersey.

    Travis would be a good #2 hitter if Martin isn't available. Other than that, he should be towards the bottom of the order.

    I didn't get to see the game but I saw that Kelly had a bad case of the Sanchez, and Hutch did decent. How did he look?

    Not that I'm complaining but Sanchez now has allowed more walks than hits this season

    Alex Hassen may be in the running for the most DFA in a season. I'm counting 6 so far this offseason/season.

    The fact that Mark has only allowed 59 stolen bases in 16 years is amazing considering most guys in college throw harder than him.

    You can't blame CC for being a horrible defensive left fielder. It's annoying but he's been thrown into a position he's rarely played before and it's at the highest level.
