    That's true. I'd imagine it was the combination of a few things, but reading a few articles in the past on how much he worked, it wouldn't surprise me if his kids had something to do with it. That's all.

    The man has 2 (I believe) young kids and was probably working an ungodly amount of time. Maybe the hiring of a new president was his perfect opportunity to leave his job and maybe find something a little more family friendly.

    I'd be fine with Thole as our backup catcher. Our offense is great that we don't really need too much production from a catcher.

    Name one franchise that has 50 prospects that the last 20 aren't "borderline 25th man" potential.

    That is complete bull. If you're a good, well run franchise (Cardinals) you top out at 25/30 at most. I think the AA tenure was pretty good in the draft/signage department.

    Or he could donate it to Tampa. I'm sure there will be at least 35 guys in need of uniforms come next year and who knows if Tampa has the money to buy them.
