    When Travis is back my lineup is... Travis Paredes (DH) Donaldson Bautista EE Saunders Tulo Pilar The Catcher. I use Smoak only for defense and to give EE time off when he needs it..Smoak has had a good start but he will kill any rallies they get.. Of course,if EE can't play first on a regular basis then Smoak has to play..

    It's probably just my pessimistic outlook but I feel that there's a general malaise surrounding this team....they look like they expect to lose...or am I imagining things?

    Sooner or later Goins has to get a hit.......the ball will hit his bat in a good spot one day...

    Hard to understand how fast he has declined......in the middle of last season he just lost it....how does that happen ?

    Changing a laid back manager like Gibbons can sometimes change the atmosphere in the dugout.....right now this team looks like they expect to lose imo.

    I've always been a big tulo fan but after 50--60 games here I am greatly concerned....if after another 20 games or so he's still like this then it will probably mean that he has regressed to this level for good......how I was hoping to see the real tulo....what a disappointment...

    Smoak can't hit the breaking ball...at all....why they ever throw him a fastball is a mystery to me..

    Smoak should only play as a defensive replacement.....or once in a while to rest cola if needed.....

    Tulo worries me because it's not just the start of this season where he hasn't hit...it was the last 50 games last year.. I understand that he wasn't comfortable.....but still...its concerning.
