    Of course..you deliberately hit a guy to load up the bases and bring the tying run to the plate.....happens every day...

    It's very hard to rate baseball managers....especially when we don't know what goes on in the clubhouse and don't know what the players think...so Gibbons might be a good manager or a bad one.......but in his interviews he says nothing...just the usual clichés that anyone could say....I guess that interviewing and quoting managers is a must,but to me it's just a waste of time.

    even with goins inability to hit, this team is better with him at shortstop and reyes on the bench.

    They might if they are out of it by july/august...but that would mean AA is conceding that the 3 year window is over..

    I don't disagree but this team is not very good and when you hire someone new there is always hope...and we desperately need hope..

    What in the world has happened to Hutchison....came up with great command ...had a good half season last year..and now??

    Sometimes pitchers get wins despite being consistently hit hard....those results are not sustainable.(unless your name is Burley). But Sanchez is not getting hit much at all.....it's all a control issue now,but when he gets the ball over he has such great movement that they are not making solid contact. That, and the fact that he is just a baby and has lots to learn,and thus lots of room for improvement with experience,tells me that he should continue to get the ball.

    The kid has an electric arm....he should probably be in the minors refining his command,but you can't argue with 7 innings one hit ball..

    I think this mess was predictable...but not with Hutchison.....something is wrong with him....this is not just "struggling"....I'm worried about him..

    So does Walker get fired first..then Gibbons? I can't see AA fired...who's going to do it? Beeston is in his last year..he aint firing nobody..

    Of course castro should go down,but I'd also send Osuna even though he's done well so far. Both need to get experience as starters working on their skills......it's a waste to keep Osuna on this dreadful team .imo

    What is up with Hutchison......wasn't he at 95 mph at times last year with command? Is he possibly hurt..or what?

    Have you ever seen him this bad? Second half last year and this start should indicate that he is almost done..

    I hate what they've done with Pompey,Castro,Norris etc...all excellent prospects rushed to the majors before they were ready....management and coaches should all be gone,but we can't get rid of the owners, so what's the point.?

    Except for the unexpected regression,so far, of Hutchison..this should have been expected.

    Re Pillar....I've never seen so many great catches by an outfielder in so few games..ever..
