    Yeah I hear ya Grant. I'd wait as well but in the end I don't think I'd do it. Assuming he plays like an MVP candidate the next two seasons like he has the last two what would an extension even cost? 7 years taking him through age 40? yuck

    We have Donaldson for two more years, then he'll be 33 when he's finally a FA. I'd be leery to lock him up to a fat extension as well.

    I think I agree. A bullpen game from the O's could be scary but facing Verlander and the Tigers lineup would be no better.

    Girardi will be trying hard to win those games. He'll want to push his win total up this year as much as he can so he can say he fielded a competitive team with the young players.

    Yeah I would not want to face that at all. The Tigers don't look like a good option to face either. Verlander and/or Fulmer are set up pretty well to pitch the WC game. Their lineup is pretty good, although right handed heavy so Sanchez could be a good option against them.

    The Dogg was like 13 or 14 when we were all posting on the old board 10 years ago. He probably grew up to some degree.

    Yeah the Tigers could close strong. Games against an Indians team that is mailing it in and then games against the Braves. What happens if we tie with the Tigers though? We won the season series 4-3 so I assume we get home field advantage.

    They need to clarify the standard for overturning it. In the NFL it's like 99% sure to overturn. Baseball is all over the map.

    Ehhh this isn't the biggest mistake Gibbons has made IMO. One run scores and he'd bring him in anyway. Might as well do it now. Also, these games against the Orioles mean everything. The games against the Red Sox may or may not mean something.

    Geezus no kidding. I was one of the biggest proponents of offering him the QO but now I think I may have changed my mind.

    Lol @ Bourn's arm. Wasn't even close and Pillar had to freeze on the line drive and it was hit hard right at Bourn.

    We need more runs. A 2 run lead isn't safe at all.

    We don't do well with replays. But this made me think of the replay where the umps huddled and overturned the call on that foul ball AND then went to replay. It changed the burden of the conclusive evidence and we lost. lol

    Looked to me like he was pissed at the umpire for letting him keep throwing bean balls at him but that he wasn't going to escalate it himself.

    Travis says he'll play tomorrow but every time he's hurt he says that doesn't he? What a disaster that was. Lose two important guys over some dumb beanballing.

    Happ deserves 0% of the blame. Severino is mostly at fault as well as the idiot Jays players who lost their marbles. Run out there fine, but don't get overly aggressive. The ump f***ed up the most though IMO. Why not just eject Severino after he tried to hit Smoak the first time?
