    Say the Jays win the WC game. What would happen in a series against the Rangers? Would the Jays hit Odor?

    Rangers have a +11 RD. We have a +96 RD. We can beat them.

    O's in the WC, then the Rangers in the ALDS and then the Red Sox in the ALCS. For good measure we can then prevent the Cubs from winning the World Series for the first time in 100 years.

    Is there a link to these Jose Bautista hats anywhere? I thought they were available today but I can't seem to find them.

    I think they should absolutely waive that rule for everyone and just vote on Fernandez like anyone else. I, for one, would not vote for Jose Fernandez. But let's say he played 9.5 years at the rate he did for 4 seasons. I would probably vote for him then. Or imagine if, god forbid, something happened to Mike Trout in year 9 of his career. He couldn't become a HoFer? Stupid rule.

    What is the 10-year HOF minimum? I googled it but all that came up was the 10-year writing requirement for writers to become eligible to vote. EDIT: Oh I see now, players must have played 10 years in the big to be eligible.

    MLB has the best and most expansive pension program in baseball. A single day on a big league roster gets you lifetime healthcare. 43 days gets you $34,000 annually.

    That place was in dire need of renovating right? Good to see them invest $81 million in to it.

    Yeah for sure there is. They hold that spot right now and with 10 games to go they've got a great shot. If they can go 6-4 it's probably theirs. 5-5 and they've got a good chance.

    Gibbons very concerned with the OF defense in Game 1 but completely throws those concerns out the window in Game 3.

    A lot can change but it looks like Baltimore has Tillman lined up as a good possibility for the WC game. Looks like Stroman falls in line for us but we could jimmy-rig Sanchez or Happ perhaps.

    Bautista looked half decent in the OF tonight. Just put Donaldson at DH and Barney at 3B for as long as it takes Donaldson's hip to heal.
