Yeah I'd be up for a move like that although between Biagini, Rowley and maybe Brett Anderson that might be enough to patch up the two spots surrounding Happ, Stroman and Estrada. I'd like to see a similar move at SS. Then add Travis to 2B and Sanchez to the pen and let's see what happens in September.

Aaron Sanchez could become that guy.

Then 3 games at the Trop. I hope they didn't just get our hopes up only to s*** the bed these next 6 games.
  4. Terminator
Well yeah can you blame them. He went from replacement level to All-Star. That's not that fickle.

Not many WC teams playing today so we will end the day 3 games back and move in to a tie with two teams who were ahead of us. Went from last in the AL East to tied for 3rd as well.

The playoffs will be easy to make.

Big hit. Let's get the W and we are only 3 games back at that point.

He's not bad but that guy's command is just awful. It seems like he comes in and so very often has 4 pitch walks or serves up a fastball right down the can.

How rested is the pen? I'm pretty nervous about Rowley facing the middle of their lineup a 3rd time.

Nice job to limit it to one run though.

Kendrys is slow as s*** but at least he was hustling on his double earlier in the game.
  12. Terminator
Pearce is so unnatural out there. He makes me nervous on even routine plays.
  13. Terminator
    Nice block by Montero there.
  14. Terminator
Yeah he is. Hopefully he is off today and we tag him for some runs.
  15. Terminator
Archer hung that one right over the middle of the plate.

I know these are all big games from here on out but with that 6 game road trip coming up we could really use an upset here. At first when I saw Carrera in CF I thought oh s***, then I sadly realized Pillar's bat was no longer in the lineup and it made me happy. It might not be that big of a downgrade.

Jays schedule is kind of tough ROS. This 3 game series at CHC is going to be tough then we go off day with 3 more games at Tampa Bay. That could be the end of this pseudo-contention. Getting Montero back is helpful as the back half of our lineup is a joke and he's at least not a complete zero at the plate. If we can weather the storm on this road trip I'll feel slightly better about our chances. Entering September we could have some reinforcements. Biagini can take Tepesch's spot and Travis could be back at 2B. Brett Anderson could replace Rowley if he's not up for the task and Sanchez might be able to provide some late inning relief. If we are in contention with a month to go I wouldn't mind seeing the Jays acquiring a cheap SS. We only need someone replacement level to offer up a big improvement over Ryan Goins and I don't think it'd take that much to acquire a guy like that.

I suppose he could but the team claiming him would have to roster a 1B only player who is project to hit around 80 wRC+. You'd REALLY have to have no hopes for the upcoming season to eat the negative WAR that he'd provide. On top of it if you try to hide him as the 25th man and occasional pinch hitter or spot starter which would only hinder his development.

That was ridiculous. He'd grill himself an entire Family BBQ's worth of food for himself daily and for each meal.
  21. Terminator
Our retarded leftfielders have the mental fortitude of little leaguers. Why they can never throw it to the right base I have no clue. Pearce's mistake takes the double play away now.

Welcome aboard! Who is your favorite Blue Jays player? There are right and wrong answers to this question.
  23. Terminator
Why throw your garbage fastball on a 1-2 count to Longoria?
  24. Terminator
Top of the lineup, 2nd time through. OF get ready.

Some team will assuredly sign him to a one year deal for 8 mil with a team option too.
