    Bolsinger is probably better than Oberholtzer, at least he was the better choice a mere 4 starts ago. Once Liriano comes back Bolsinger is probably gone any way. And since Oberholtzer doesn't have options we might as well save that bullet for later in the year when we need it rather than using it for a marginal upgrade over a couple of Bolsinger starts.

    Hurl- how likely are the Huskers to advance while being in the same bracket as the top seed? Is it like MLB playoffs where it's kind of a crapshoot or do the better teams usually win?

    That sucks I was hoping to see him back sooner.

    Could be the front office directing him on how to play JD/Tulo. And if you concede that they aren't going to play Saturday because it's a day game after a night game why would they play today's day game after a night game? We are right back in the playoff chase. Not even just the Wild Card but the Division. After the 2-11 start it's pretty impressive. But the key is to stay healthy. I'm all for being protective of the players.

    I kind of like it. Day game after a night game seems like an opportune time and that seems like the plan for Donaldson and Tulo right now anyway. On top of it, Bolsinger could throw up a dud any given game making a full lineup a moot point. Having a full strength team against the Yankees is better. Gibby is playing 4D Chess. Now let's go out there and win anyway.

    With everyone healthy this lineup is insane with the emergence of Pillar and Smoak. Once we get Pearce back everyone but Pillar should be projected for 100 wRC+ or better from here on out.

    So the game starts in about 4 hours and the Jays still need to make a roster move to bring Happ back. Who gets removed from the 25-man?

    With the emergence of Pillar and Smoak this lineup is looking top notch. The only weak out is whoever is in LF and batting #9 although when Pearce comes back that could change. If the injury situation continues to stabilize some this could be a dangerous team.

    Geezus. Stepping on the leg like that was clearly on purpose and ridiculous. The ump should have done something about that right then and there. The guy who stepped on the leg was then shoving a coach. He should get a lengthy suspension. The guy who had his leg stepped on should get a short suspension. The guy firing baseballs should get suspended for the rest of the season.

    Well Zips and Steamer are moving their projections upward for him. 107 and 102 wRC+ when I believe both had him below 100 to begin the year.

    "Ryan Goins has a lot of confidence at the plate. That comes from getting regular ABs. He's getting really comfortable at the plate." *looks at Goins' numbers and his wRC+ is an awful 63 So either Buck and Tabby are talking ******** or Ryan Goins is so confident despite such horrible numbers that he's now in the realm of blind arrogance.

    Cashner sucks and we've got our full lineup out there today. As long as Biagini gives as an okay performance I think we've got a great chance for a sweep.

    Jays backup C's providing -1.1 WAR this season. That's pathetic. Shatkins needs to do something about this. A simple move could be a big improvement.

    It's late May and Kevin Pillar is batting leadoff and Justin Smoak is batting 5th and I'm not even mad about it.

    Does anyone think we will see any fireworks with the Rangers this weekend? I'm really hoping for an E-4 by the Rangers this series.
